Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) - Enid, formerly the campus was Phillips University, purchased by NOC in 1999
Is it my imagination or is there a certain ‘sameness’ about much college campus sculptures.
Last year I spent three days in Cork and it rained most of the time and I had to abandon my plans to photograph the University campus because the rain got so heavy that I ended up photographing raindrops. This year I decided to spend five days in the city assuming that that it was unlikely that it would rain for five days without stop.
As you may have guessed, it did rain every day but as there were many extended dry spells the weather did not impact on my photography. I did, however, have have a problem with dust on my sensor. I discovered that there was a large object attached to the sensor and I was unable to remove it but it only obvious under certain conditions. Further investigation leads me to believe that the debris was there since my visit to Belfast.
Previous years I walked from location I walked from location to location but this year I used the bus service which I found to be good. I got a lot advice from the bus drivers as to what I should photograph and how best to get to the locations in question.
My new book arrived today.
It's the result of years of intensive research and writing, looking into the future of highereducation and climatechange.
I will be continuing to commit a lot of time to this topic, and am starting the book tour soon! Let me know if you'd like me to visit.

Students, faculty, and staff raised more than $1,300 for the Family Service Association of Howard County's domestic violence shelter during the annual Angel Walk. In addition, staff member Danielle Runda donated a quilt made from walk T-shirts dating back nearly 10 years.
This year the bears to build event was help virtually. Students visited the carnival themed tent on the patio by the Kelley Student Center to pick up their pre-packaged bear...er, monkey to sit and stuff elsewhere on campus.

College of DuPage recently celebrated the graduation of more than three dozen participants from the eight-week Citizen's Public Safety Academy. The academy included instruction on the different aspects of public safety including: emergency response, FEMA, law enforcement, fire science and many other occupations related to this area. The culminating group exercise included a mock crime scene investigation on the immersive street scene at the Homeland Security Education Center that incorporates many of the learning objectives from the previous seven weeks.
Nearly 500 job seekers and 120 employers participated in the College of DuPage's third annual Career Fair.
The event provided information and networking opportunities for job seekers who are unemployed or underemployed, looking to change careers, or recent graduates who are not yet employed in their chosen field.

Remark: The Northern Indiana Normal School and Business Institute, which operated from 1873 through 1900, later to be renamed Valparaiso College in 1900, and then renamed again as Valparaiso University in 1906, issued scrip as a form of trade. The Institute is known to have issued scrip in denominations of 1¢, 2¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, and $5,000, which was backed by its deposits fictitiously held in the First National Bank located in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, or the Merchants Commercial Bank of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. This represents an example of an uncirculated 1¢ scrip note.
Schingoethe and Schingoethe (1993) do not list an example of this scrip though it is identical in appearance to the class of scrip listed as IN-875 (p. 83). Given that this scrip is unlisted in Schingoethe, it is assumed it has a rarity of R7, indicating that only one to four examples of this scrip are known to exist.
