Am unteren Bildrand links entsteht ein neuer High-Tech-Campöus der Zeiss-AG. In einer Mitteilung des Unternehmens hieß es dazu: "Jena – der Gründungsstandort und zweitgrößte Standort weltweit – wird als einer der führenden Innovationsstandorte von ZEISS weiter ausgebaut. Dazu errichtet ZEISS ein Gebäude, in dem alle Entwicklungseinheiten sowie ein Großteil der lokal ansässigen Produktions- und Verwaltungsabteilungen angesiedelt werden.
