Only five more miles to go!

Timm's Hill is the highest natural point of elevation in the state of Wisconsin. The elevation is 1,951.5 feet (594.8 metres)

Right after this picture was taken I decided to just barely dip my boot into the water to rinse some of the mud off. You can probably guess what that led to.

I can't believe I've never captured a sunset from this spot. Next week I'm heading down with my setup and capturing an bracketed set, this would make an EXCELLENT HDR photo.

This is the highest point in the state of Ohio. Our second state highpoint.

In an otherwise grayscale world, these little blue flowers were surprisingly abundant, growing out of cracks and crevices all over the switchbacks, at least as high as 13,000 ft. I think they're also known as Polomium.
