I adjusted the levels in this picture so that most of the snow appears completely white. After that I masked out the vignetting in the corners.
This was the most challenging photo mostly due to my child wanting to move so mush and focus was difficult.
Strobist info: One SB25 shoot through white umbrella from camera right top at 1/4 power. Nikon D300, 50mm 1.8
I choose this image because I was wondering about my house and saw this fall decoration laying around. I figured the bright orange pumpkins with white lettering and background would be good for creating a highkey image. I want a lot to be in focus so I set the f/stop to f/16.0, and had the ISO had a consistent 200. With these 2 things set, I played around with the shutter speed until I got the correct exposure at 1/10th of a second.
