Watching his older brothers and the other kids in the neighborhood having fun during a water balloon fight was frustrating for this little boy. This image was captured after his oldest brother stopped and made his littlest brother a water balloon.

Have a nice day
My first day experimenting with high key for Class with Dave and Dave. This does not really look like me, cause I am smirking... yet you can't quite tell I am smirking due to the high-key-ness or overexposure (I don't know the difference if there is one).

This is not a bar of soap it is a rock crystal. I think it is gypsum which is a clear glass like rock that is interesting to photograph. It doesn't reflect light the same way as glass or other shiny objects. I would like to spend more time using this rock to experiment with since it distributes light in a neat way.
WEEK 33 Artistic: High Key
High Key was one of the most interesting during the last challenge. Last time it was a portrait; this time it is back as inspiration. #dogwood52 #dogwood2017 #dogwoodweek33 #highkey
In this picture I really wanted to capture her eyes and put most of the focus there. Since the picture is high key and bright I knew that would really make her eyes pop. I asked her to just stare right at the camera. She gave me this really wide eyed look which was perfect! I'll admit I usually go for a more moody look with my photos, but I really liked playing around with high key with this picture.

What had happened to coordinate axes which marked our lives until today? Spatial boundaries are now unclosed in infinite physical-virtual hyperreality; time is losing any dimensionality for nomadic modern freelancer. Suddenly we discover ourselves within infinite spatial void, face-to-face with Time, which is no longer given from the outside by the cosmic order or farming cycle, or God, or factory beeps. Totally free, naked, belonging solely to ourselves ... and extremely scared.
