While visiting Ecuador, we didn't see the Amazon rainforest but explored the cloud forest. Unlike the Amazon, which is hot, humid, and low-lying, the cloud forest is found at higher elevations where mist and clouds weave through the trees, creating a cooler, more mysterious environment.
Besides the guided hikes into the lush forest, one of the attractions we had been especially looking forward to was the Sky Bike. Is it the child in us—or is it simply that exciting? Probably both!
Gliding high above the Mashpi cloud forest, the Sky Bike offers a new perspective on this incredible landscape. Suspended on a 200-meter cable, it's just you, the jungle, and the sounds of nature all around. The dense green canopy stretches endlessly from here, with rivers and waterfalls hidden beneath the treetops.
We have to admit: it was a bit scary. But it was worth it—it was an unforgettable way to experience the rainforest from above.

Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche(4,410m)| 5-6hrs
Day 06: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche(4,410m)
Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche(4,910m)| 5-6hrs
