52:52 Music

This also wasn't what I had intended for the this weeks theme but when I saw this busker, as I walked on my way home from work to the station I thought he looked very cool . . . almost like Jimmy Hendrix only with slightly longer hair!

On a much sadder note this was also the very location where just a week later in Melbourne, a crazed driver deliberately charged at pedestrians with his vehicle terrifying Christmas crowds and workers and seriously injuring 19 people, a couple who are still fighting for life. He has since been charged with 19 counts of attempted murder. So sad and terrifying at anytime but especially at Christmas.

I don't want to end this post on a sad note and so I want to wish all of my wonderful Flickr friends and their families a wonderful and safe and happy Christmas and I look forward to catching up with all of you in the new year as I have limited internet access at the moment.

Merry Christmas!

At the rear of the four car train is a load of plastic pellets for Hendrix Wire, while the remaining three cars are empties that are to head back to Nashua...after doing the run around in Wilton.

It was probably past bedtime, everyone was tired, but eating on the way home had been rather unscheduled due to traffic. Haidyn had been really good all day, but still hungry it seemed. After burning off some energy and happy to be home her daddy fixed her a PBJ that just seemed huge in this photo. Hard to believe she will be three next week!

A scan from an old photograph I took when once in Seattle of a wall painting of Jimmy Hendrix. The city has much to celebrate since Jimi was born there.

My pencil drawing of one of my favourite musicians. The latest in my ongoing series of musical and cultural icons portraits.

Going through the photo stockpile and realised I have a few to upload. Enjoy!

Like in any other major urban center in the world, there are many legends intertwined in Zagreb city culture. The most famous is certainly the one about the railway bridge over the Sava, better known as the Hendrix Bridge.

And yes, he was named after Jimi Hendrix.

Are you the Next Hendrix? Crowd scene at SXSW 2019. I love to shoot street scenes with something eye catching in the frame, like a background or an element that wasn't the focus of the photo but makes the image interesting. In this case, its Jimi.

Juxaposition or People and Posters

This is a collection of Graffiti or Posters that I have photographed over a period of time, with people in the foreground. There is some fantastic graffiti out there and all I have done is to record it. To the artists I take my hat off to you and have much regret when your work is vandalised. To the poster stickers, keep up the good work. As usual, trust you will enjoy what I’ve posted.

Гітара -- Ukrainian for Guitar. I figured that since I'm making an everyday familiar object look so foreign to the visual senses that I needed a foreign language to describe the set too.
