A remarkable appearance of a US Navy fighter from the Pacific theatre. This is Grumman F6F-5K Hellcat G-BTCC.

The plane wears a fake serial number and fake colours to represent F6F-3 40467 that was flown by Navy ace Alexander Vraciu. It's real identity is F6F-5K 80141. The cat was built in June 1945.

This model was more-or-less complete yesterday evening. I pride myself for thinking out the difficult bits before I start building, but this model had problems: when folded the wings sat too far from the fuselage, the landing gear struts were too long, there were awkward gaps where the wings met the fuselage, the wings were swept back a bit too far and worst of all, the undercarriage had a tendency to collapse.

I am enough of a perfectionist for this to bug me. Today I rebuilt the complete centre section of the wing. It took me about four hours, but I solved all the issues in one go and am finally happy with it.

Sometimes humanity must offer a sacrifice to the automotive gods in the form of heaps of shredded tires. Therefore, the Hellcat was given form.

Large, In Charge and Lowwwwwww. The YP Garage gave this example 'The Treatment'. This beast came out the other side 8w, slammed, seats 2 and yes it rolls. Technically, it scrapes. At very, very high speeds.

I hope you enjoy!

Well now I've reworked the front. So how does it look?

The second of my 3 National Womens day posting. Patsy “Trish” Walker Jessica Jones side kick and previous “Girl comic” first appearing in a Miss America Magazine in 1944 I haven’t finished Jessica Jones season 3 got to the second to last episode then gave up cause it’s never getting a season 4 because Kevin Feige said that all marvel shows are no longer canon unless they are from Disney Plus. It’s sad because the defenders were really awesome and I would have love to see her be a superhero some more but that won’t ever happen

Ya don't dig weird Cadillacs ? How about a 707hp Dodge Charger Hellcat. Currently the fastest four door America made, and I like the new look !

This small, versatile spacecraft was designed for exploration at the frontiers of the galaxy, and encounters with the unknown. It earned its nickname "HELLCAT" through its reputation as a star fighter during its skirmishes with Parasites that crossed its path. In addition to laser cannons, its cargo bay is typically equipped with a drop-down missle bay module shown below (which can be swapped out for a cargo or passenger bay module).

My main goal was to design a starfighter that could go toe-to-toe with the Parasite I created back in April. The other goal was to somehow make good use of those curved half-canopy pieces as windows. The general idea was spacecraft that resembled an armored tank. The bulk of these parts are from LEGO train sets (why there is soooooo much black), and Corner Cafe.

That said, appreciate any thoughts for improvement...

Grumman F6F Hellcat is an American carrier-based fighter aircraft of World War II. STEVEN F. UDVAR-HAZY CENTER

The M18 Hellcat was an American tank destroyer of World War II. Armed with a 76 mm cannon, the vehicle was the fastest tracked, armored fighting vehicle during World War II with a top speed up to 60 mph (92kph). The speed was attained by keeping armor to a minimum, no more than 1" thick. Hellcat crews took advantage of the vehicle's speed to minimize the enemy's ability to pierce its thin armor.

I really enjoyed building the Hellcat, and I hope you do like it as much as I do.

note: I'm still experimenting how Flickr and my camera work, so if you have any tips for the photos or for my creation, please let my know in the comments.

This is Mass Directive's famous Hellcat Low Orbit, Atmoshperic Fighter. Highly effective in the Ion War Skirmishes, the Hellcats were adept at penetrating the defenses of heavily armed cruisers. Armed with 8 mass driver guns and the latest Ion Plasma Engines, the Hellcat packs a ton of power in it's compact frame.
