SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 2, 2020) An MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, lands on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59). If you were ever wondering what the bottom of a helicopter looks like... tada! It circled twice around the area near the tennis courts. I'd have to guess that it was a police chopper. I don't think they'd like civilians fly that low.
As a child we called these helicopters (seeds from maple trees) - apparently the technical term is samaras - I still like the helicopter name though and they are still fun to throw up in the air and watch coming down spinning :)
Just a quick shot from above. I don't normally shoot from this angle as it destroys the illusion of size. It really becomes more of a behind the scene type of shot.
The Jeep is a Liberty Classic bank with substantial modification. Really quite a nice and detailed model. The Mercury is a Maisto product with much of the chrome painted out.
