Don't allow life's circumstances to bring you down! Instead of dwelling on your circumstances a day fixing your eyes on them, turn your gaze toward the cross and Jesus where He gave it all for you! Fix your eyes on Him! He's alive and is your strength and shield. He is your mighty fortress!

What do you hunger for? People? Success? Material Possessions? Or?

We exist in a world often filled full of self-centeredness. I often refer to this as the "Planet Me Syndrome" because some act as if the world, the planets, and people revolve around them which is far from the truth.
_
While we are to take care of ourselves and others, and it's not bad to pursue healthy goals, we're not to fill ourselves up with... ourselves....our endeavors, our selfish pursuits or wrong business or personal relationship pursuits. These things are temporal and cannot ultimately fill or fulfill us.
_
No person, pursuit, nothing and no one can take His rightful place in our lives as follower's of Christ as we're called according to His purpose, will and plan!
_
We're to hunger, thirst and fill ourselves with the things of God as Jesus is the only One who will truly satisfy our hunger!
_
I pray that we hunger for the things above more than anything and in doing so we'll find satisfaction for our heart, minds and soul.

Matthew 5:6 (ESV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
