On the 23rd of April, 1982, Clive Sinclair presented his new home computer, the ZX Spectrum, which would have laid the way to the information technology revolution for millions of people. I am one of them.

This is a very special Apple IIe - Steve Wozniak ("Woz") has developed the prototype of Breakout (the game you can see on the monitor) in 1975 within four days. This game was the first videogame that used colours and sound and had a major influence on the design of this computer.

Metal Gear wird 30 Jahre alt. Wer jetzt denkt: Moment mal, Metal Gear Solid ist doch erst 1998 erschienen, der hat zwar Recht vergisst aber, dass die Serie schon mit dem ersten Metal Gear am 13. Juli 1987 ihren Anfang fand. Damals noch ohne den Zusatz "Solid" und auf dem MSX2 Heimcomputer, gelang zwar nicht der große Durchbruch, aber die Story um Solid Snake, Gray Fox und Big Boss gilt auch für die in den 90ern und 2000er-Jahren folgenden 3D-Ableger als Kanon. Wir spielen 30 Jahre später die ersten 15 Minuten des ersten Metal Gear im Let's Play an und feiern ein wenig den Geburtstag dieser legendären Spielereihe. Happy Birthday Metal Gear!
