CBC members share the love of Jesus Christ by installing windows in homes where the owners cannot afford to replace them themselves. The new windows will help keep the house warmer in the winter and cooler and the summer, lowering the amount of money that the residents have to pay to heat and cool, leaving them more money for the necessities of life. The windows and labor are provided at no cost.
The ministry profoundly affects the installers as we come face-to-face with poverty in our own city, and put very real and personal faces on it. In this house lived a family of four; dad, mom and their two little daughters. The frustration is always that we don't have the resources to do more. In the end, the windows are new, but much work remains to be done.
