I love Christmas Cake! It always makes me smile! I love the taste!
I know a lot of people don't. I'm not sure if its how heavy it is or all those super sweet candied fruits.
This Christmas cake is from Vermont. It is Gluten free and this is what's in it: Gluten Free Ingredients: Honey, unsulfured apricots, raisins, eggs, dates, walnuts, cashews, butter, orange juice, brandy, orange liqueur, white rice flour, brown rice flour, potato starch, lemon juice, cinnamon, tapioca starch, aluminum-free baking powder, allspice, baking soda, xanthan gum. So compared to those conventional fruit cakes you buy in the supermarket, this one is much better! So now I can have my cake and eat it too!
I wondered what unsulfured meant so looked it up and discovered some foods contain sulfured dioxide. For a person with an unhealthy respiratory system it can trigger things like asthma, shortness of breath etc.

In early September, over 70 Corizon staff and family members from District #4, PADOC, attended their Sixth Annual Family Picnic at Knoebels Amusement Park.
Dr. Scott Sterling took on the task of grilling burgers and hot dogs and Brenda O’Day, Chairwoman for the event, raffled off gift cards, baskets and Corizon branded items for the regional office and each facility. All children were each provided a cash prize to be used in the park for tickets, rides and various games. Two Penn State tickets, offered by Healthy Alternatives, were awarded to Kallie Liendo, Program Manager Assistant, SCI-Coal Township. The rain held out most of the day and some stayed till “Last Call.” Fun was had by all.
