From the rooftop of the building known as “Stasjonen” — the old stone tower of Slottsfjellet rises quietly above Tønsberg’s night sky.

In November, its ancient walls turn blue — a color of calm and strength, but also of awareness. The blue light is part of a global campaign focusing on men’s health and the fight against prostate cancer.

Once a medieval fortress and symbol of royal power, the Slottsfjelltårnet now stands as a monument of reflection — a link between history, community, and the light of care that reaches far beyond its stone walls.

Today is my third day of getting Damian and myself back on a regular fitness routine and healthier eating habits. For my breakfast today - Chicken and Veggie Kadu. With a majority of local veggies for the win.

This isn't the usual breakfast that anyone is use to really. Probably a large portion of us have grown up eating cereal, eggs, toast, or some sort of "breakfast" food to start our day. As a part of my process to better myself, body and soul, I've learned to accept things and make the changes necessary to change those things into better aspects of myself. Accept what you have and work with what you've got.

I'd fallen off the health track a while back. I had been eating fairly healthy, but I'd let my sugar tooth get in on it a bit much and hadn't been on a regular exercise routine for some time. I had started the once week yoga sessions, but with my dissatisfaction of the state my physical body and will power, I started rolling the ball towards better self care.

My core has always been a factor that could use some work, but along with it, I have digestive issues. A part of it, has to do with my rumination issues (as per what I've learned from Meridian Lines of the body), the rest of it, I think is just because that's how my body runs. In order for my digestive system to work properly, I need to have warm/hot drinks and cereals/soups in the morning to have it properly "warmed up" for the rest of my day. Hence the soup for today's breakfast. I'd learned these facts of warm liquids to wake up the digestive system some time ago, however I'd let myself become distracted with other issues and lost track of this aspect of my personal health. Even though I am having to restart my health habits, I'm glad to have the smarts to recognise what needs to be changed and the will to work on it. May you also persevere and succeed with your endeavours to help you become a better you. Have a good day!

There is currently no vaccine to prevent #Coronavirus disease till now. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person to person. Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can lands in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby and possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

So to avoid any of this, please follow these things:

- Clean your hands often. Wash your hands often with soap at 20 seconds after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

- If soap and water are not readily available use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% Alcohol.

- Avoid close contact with people who are Sick. Maintain social distancing.

- Cover your hands with gloves and face with a mask whenever you go out.

- Cover your mouth while you cough or sneeze with a tissue or handkerchief.

Although I have not had time to get daily shots, I will more likely be taking weekly shots to show progress. (not to mention that the first week it looked really lame) I've been sick with a cold the past week, and blowing my nose has become quite an arduous task... blech!

Here are the details on Movember and how you can sponsor me:

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'll be growing a Mo (slang for moustache). That's right - I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about men's health and the fight against prostate cancer. Why...

* Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America.

* In 2007, more than 218,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 27,000 American men will die from the disease.

To sponsor my Mo (moustache) and fight against prostate cancer please go to www.movember.com/us/donate, enter my registration number which is 61417 and your credit card details. Or you can sponsor me by check made payable to the "Prostate Cancer Foundation" clearly marking the donation as being for my registration number: 61417. Please mail checks to: Prostate Cancer Foundation, Attn: Movember, 1250 Fourth St, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

All donations are made directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation which will use the funds for high-impact research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

Movember culminates at the end of the month at the Gala Partés. These glamorous and groomed events will see Tom Selleck and Borat look-a-likes battle it out for their chance to take home the prestigious Man of Movember title. If you would like to be part of this great night you'll need to purchase a Gala Parté ticket .

Rice, potatoes, and carbs aren’t the problem piersey.com/why-carbs-arent-the-problem/ Ultra-processed food and diet culture are. This breaks down the difference.

A mental illness is a physical illness of the brain that causes disturbances in thinking, behavior, energy or emotions that make it difficult to cope with the ordinary demands of life.

The two most common mental health conditions are:

1. Anxiety Disorders

2. Mood Disorders

Almost half of the young generations across the globe are experiencing mental health problems. Most of them are experiencing different forms of depression and anxiety caused by peer pressure, family concerns, and poor self-esteem. There are a number of ways to promote mental health, including early childhood interventions; support to children; socio-economic empowerment of women; social support for elderly populations; programs targeted at vulnerable people; mental health promotional activities in schools; violence prevention programs, and anti-discrimination laws and campaigns.
