Hurricane Point, Big Sur, California
Standing on Hurricane Point on a cloudy evening, looking north along California's Big Sur coast. Travelers are heading home, their car lights leaving luminescent trails in this long exposure.
In front of us is Bixby Cove and its eponymous bridge, further back is Rocky Point, Soberanes Point, Garrapata, then the scattered lights of the Carmel Highlands. The heights of the Monterey Peninsula loom vaguely on the far left.

Hike to Ingalls Pass, Headlight Basin, and Ingalls Lake. The larch trees were displaying their golden needles and the mountain goats were plentiful. The trail was crowded even on a weekday. 20221012_135532

long exposure of a state trooper going to back up another trooper who had a car run on him after he had the car pulled over! It looks awesome, you can see the individual placement of the LED strobes and how the yellow lights alternate placement
UP 8623 at Pump House on the UP Kansas Sub. Yeah, it's a parked trains but the light was mint and the headlights were on and the nose looked clean so I shot it. I could do without the power lines.
