Brownie Hawkeye, flipped lens.

Kodak Ektachrome EPR, cross processed.

First roll through with the Brownie Hawkeye from the 1950's. This is a bad scan of the negative from a flatbed scanner. I had the roll developed and had prints made but it was $16 so I am not going to do that anymore. A bit too expensive for me. Until then, I will get the negatives developed and do crappy scans like this.

One of five E-2D aircraft that were seen based here along with two C-2A Greyhounds.

Got this from rocky cameras for £8.99, was a in pretty grimy state, but i was expecting that anyway. Polished the Bakelite body and aluminum front panel with brasso (first time i've done this, very good results, was surprised), cleaned all the optics of the mold it had. Don't know if the metal front plate was meant to be shiny but it certainly is now.

This E-2C Hawkeye from the Black Eagles of the Super Carrier USS Carl Vinson made a very short touch and go and then made a steep climb out, heading West.

this is what I tell people that go to UT and A&M is the U of Iowa equivalent of the Horns or Gig Em. There is no such thing for Iowa.

Before I learned of Holgas I spent some time trying to see what kind of moodiness and atmosphere I could get out of my mother's old Brownie Hawkeye camera. In this example, I rubber-banded a red filter on the front and shot Tri-X at about 1600.

Hawkeye and Olaf usualy work together on their Ranger missions. Olaf Axehead has a great fondness of axes of all shapes and sizes and is a loyal friend to Hawkeye.

Spotted this hawk in a tree at Natural Resources Trust's Sheep Pasture in N. Easton, Massachusetts. He seemed to be considering whether or not I was his next meal!

Part of an Avengers cosplay group I ran into at Artists' Alley. Nice "Rule 63" renditions of Black Widow(er) - the cosplayer was very pleased that I got his title correct on the first try - and Hawkeye. Yeah, there's a canonical female Hawkeye but these two were definitely dressed up as the movie characters not the comic ones.

Advice for any Hawkeye users out there: some can use 120 film pretty unmodified. This one just needs an empty 620 spool for the takeup spool, and it's good to go.
