The kids are moving fast in the playground and I need to make sure they are not getting out of my frame.
I like the lines on the ground and the way they are included into the picture. And I think it suits B&W when we have those contrast and lines.

TGIF...hooray weekend. Time to relax and unwind with a Hendricks martini with a twist. Hendricks and Bulldog Gins are the two best IMHO. Anyway, happy Friday! Don't take yourself too seriously, and have a great weekend.
Oh, BTW, this was shot at the Severn Inn with a 100mm macro lens and a ring light. And boy, do their bartenders know how to mix!
I'll let you in on a secret....Jen and Tim know, since they were with me...... The martini was set on top of the ring light, and the strobe was triggered with a wireless trigger. Yup, strobed from below. This is what happens when you start happy hour before your friends get there...lol.

Just recently enjoying so much, all the "pre-BlytheCon New York" photos, themes, preparations ...
I know this is going to be an EXTRA SPECIAL BlytheCon this year, due mostly in part NOT of it's accomplishments ... but what it has done to OVERCOME, persevere, and "soldier on" in the face of adversity and challenge ... and has truly earned the title "The Show Must Go On" !!

Please say HELLO to EPIPHANY ESTELLE ... our little Custom by Moofers, Moofalla, Chantilly Lace. (Kate assures me they are "one in the same" ... ) and we think she did an excellent job on this beautiful girl!
Some of you may be aware, that we here at Blythe Fifth Avenue, have been wanting and attempting to adopt a "JecciFiveJade-type" model for quite some time now ... to no avail ... and when this beautiful girl became available, we just knew she was OUR GIRL !!
EPIPHANY ... meaning ... sort of like an "aha! moment" ...

Games are more and more immersive. One can think of the Wii or the Kinect where the whole body is involved in the game. Soon, they will give you a ball, a field and some friends and you'll have a game where the immersion is extreme... :-)
Next week, UBISOFT will be launching a new game where you'll have to play riffs on a real guitar. The game is called Rocksmith and should be a new milestone in the music video game industry. I'm not really a gamer but I like to play real guitar... I will probably give it a try...
