Falcon and Lake Seliger - a collage of two photos. I shot a bird in Moscow Square during the festival. The background was ugly. I decided that the freedom of the falcon would be more comfortable and chose the landscape on the lake for him.

White modern castle on the banks of the Moskva River.

Pavshinskaya floodplain is one of the brightest areas of the Moscow region.

It belongs to the capital of the Moscow region - the city of Krasnogorsk.

I wish you all merry holidays and a Happy New Year!

And I give you light :) A tree at sunset. The photo was taken in Russia, in the city of Krasnogorsk on the banks of the frozen Moskva River.

When there is snow on the ground and trees, it seems that plant life has stopped and nothing interesting happens, but this is not so.

Growth and development processes take place in all trees in winter, but they are especially noticeable in those who are opening the spring season.

January-February is the best time for cutting most conifers and sea buckthorn. Put at this time in a glass of water, they are covered with small roots after 1.5 weeks even without treatment with growth stimulants. This is explained, apparently, by the fact that the nutrients accumulated to protect against frost are consumed for the development of roots. Naturally, there are more of them in the cages in winter than in spring.

The colonnade (modern building) is located on a hill 900 meters from the walls of the Lavra. From here one of the best panoramic views of the monastery of St. Sergius and the city opens up. A good place to take unforgettable souvenir photos.

Sergiev Posad is the only city in the Moscow region included in the "Golden Ring" of Russia. It is considered the spiritual capital of Orthodoxy, the heart of the city is the Holy Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The gateway Church of the Entry into Jerusalem of the New Jerusalem Monastery was built in 1694-1697. at the same time with a powerful stone fence and towers. Initially, the gate church was wooden and did not last long.

On December 10, 1941, the Nazi troops (sappers of the 614th regiment of the SS "Reich" division), retreating from Moscow, blew up the Church of the Entry of the Lord in Jerusalem along with the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. Recovery began in 1970-1976. In the course of the restoration work in the monastery, which began at the end of 2008, the gate church became the first restored architectural object. The Gate Church of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem was re-consecrated on November 5, 2013 by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

The Resurrection New Jerusalem Monastery is a historically stauropegic monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church in the city of Istra, Moscow Region.

The monastery was founded in 1656 by Patriarch Nikon, according to whose plan the complex of the holy places of Palestine was to be recreated near Moscow.

At night the first snow fell and an hour before dawn I came to the park.

Krasnogorsk city park is not only a pond with ducks, it is a historical place.

A carefully preserved forest park zone, which is more than 150 years old, was founded on the site of the historical estate "Znamenskoye-Gubailovo". The new estate of V.M. Dolgoruky, the Moscow governor-general, had to correspond to his high rank of commander, and for this purpose a unique site with a unique landscape was chosen.

Under V.V. Dolgoruk (XIX century), the formation of the park received its main development: a regular park with a gazebo and a pavilion was laid out, and a pine forest in the north-western part of the estate began to play the role of a landscape "English" garden with walking paths.

In 1930, the foundation was laid for the organization of a city park of culture, the official opening of which took place in 1940.

The park was named “Park of Culture and Leisure of the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant”. It became one of the first urban cultural institutions in the city, founded in the first half of the 20th century.

Before the war, it was the busiest place where people could watch movies, drama performances, attend concerts, dance, and spin on the carousel. The doors of the new restaurant were opened for the townspeople.

When the Great Patriotic War began, during the days of the defense of Moscow, shelters-cracks were dug out in front of the main entrance to the park for residents of nearby houses. In 1941, a cavalry regiment of the Red Army was stationed in the park.

In 1948, the park territory was significantly expanded. German prisoners of war built a gate with columns and ticket booths (demolished in 1997), new alleys were broken, linden trees and ornamental shrubs were planted, stone flower beds were installed, and a fountain was set up.

In the late 90s, the reconstruction of the park began. A metal fence appeared almost along the entire perimeter, a new "Green Theater" was built. There are barbecue houses on the banks of one of the ponds.

I saw a cat on the fence. Like many cautious cats, he wanted to run away when I began to approach him, but when he heard my voice, he changed his mind and went to meet me. He sang a cat song to me, sniffed and licked my hand ... gave me a good mood and left.

At the time of shooting cat sees his own reflection in the lens ... not sure that he understands it :)

Happy Orthodox Christmas!

In Russia, the Orthodox Church uses the Julian calendar, and therefore Christmas this year is celebrated on the night of Wednesday 6 January 2021 to Thursday 7 January 2021.

Christmas is a holiday with a long history, but it was not always celebrated at the time we are accustomed to. Until 1918, Russia celebrated together with most of the countries of Europe on December 25, a week before the New Year. With the transition to modern chronology, the holiday began to be celebrated in January. Due to the fact that the Gregorian calendar in our country was adopted much later than in other countries, a gap of 14 days was formed in the celebration. Since 1929, it was forbidden to celebrate the Nativity of Christ in Soviet Russia. The tradition of official celebration of Christmas at the state level has been revived. in 1991.

View of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. The largest male monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church with a long history. Located in the center of the city of Sergiev Posad, Moscow region. The founding of the Holy Trinity Hermitage is considered to be the settlement of St. Sergius of Radonezh on Makovets Hill (70 km north-east of Moscow) in 1337. After several years of lonely asceticism of the Monk Sergius, new inhabitants came to Makovets, and the hermitage turned into a special monastery. Some historians believe that this happened in the early 1340s, and more precisely in 1342.

Numerous architectural structures of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra were built by the best architects of the country in the 15th-19th centuries. The ensemble of the monastery includes more than 50 buildings for various purposes. The architectural ensemble of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra is under the protection of UNESCO. Now the monastery houses more than 10 churches.

Helios, Zenith, Horizon, Zenitar, Rubinar ... familiar words? These are the products of the Zenit plant. Krasnogorsk city, Moscow region. Russia.

The sculpture of a boy-photographer is located at the main entrance to the plant.

Сannot enter the territory of the plant without a pass. I climbed a hill and photographed part of the territory. Collage of two photos.

Books have been written about this plant, but I will try to tell you more shortly :)

On February 1, 1942, by order of the USSR People's Commissar of Armaments, a decision was made in Krasnogorsk on the vacated areas of the V.I. Lenin, evacuated in 1941 to Novosibirsk, to create a new enterprise - the State Union Optical Plant No. 393, later - the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant. At the same time, his specialization was determined - the development and manufacture of aerial photographic equipment and sighting devices, as well as photographic, film technology and scientific equipment. In 1944, the FS-2 specialized photo sniper became the first camera produced by the plant.

In 1946, the trademark of the enterprise was registered - the contour of the Dove prism refracting a beam of light. In the same year, the “Moscow-1” camera was released, intended for the consumer market.

By May 1, 1948, the first 50 units of a small-format camera were produced, which received the name "Sharp" in 1949. In the same year, 1949, industrial samples of the EM-3 electron microscope were manufactured at the plant.

In 1952, a small-format amateur SLR camera "Zenith" was launched into production, which gained wide popularity and became the ancestor of a whole generation of SLR cameras, which were improved every year.

In 1957, the AFA-39 camera was the first in the world to survey the Earth's surface from a height of 200 km.

In 1959, the far side of the moon was photographed for the first time in world practice. The photographic equipment AFA-E1, created by the plant, was installed on the interplanetary automatic station.

On April 12, 1961, the filming of the launch of the Vostok spacecraft with Yuri Gagarin on board was carried out using the KT-50 cinema theodolite developed by the plant.

Krasnogorsk Plant named after S.A. Zvereva "is one of the leading enterprises in Russia in the field of optical and optoelectronic instrumentation, which has unique long-term experience and has been providing development, testing and serial production of devices and systems for various applications for decades.

During its existence, the enterprise has solved a number of tasks of national importance, produced products that have no analogues not only in the country, but also in the world. An aerial camera designed at the plant was the first in the world to photograph the far side of the Moon, and the first high-precision astronomical installations for photographing artificial satellites and planets were manufactured.

For many years the company has been one of the largest developers and manufacturers of cameras for amateur photography.

Today the company carries out technical re-equipment and modernization of production, purchases new technological equipment to optimize work processes and improve the quality of products, as well as introduces new technologies and develops promising products for research, industry, construction, healthcare, cameras, recreation and tourism.

Garden pansy

Pensamientos

Garten-Stiefmütterchen

is a type of large-flowered hybrid plant cultivated as a garden flower. English common names, such as "pansy", "viola" and "violet" may be used interchangeably. Plants grow well in sunny or partially sunny positions in well-draining soils. Pansies are perennial, but normally grown as biennials or annuals because of their leggy growth.

Euphorbia amygdaloides native to woodland locations in Europe, Turkey and the Caucasus. The complex green-yellow inflorescence (cyathium), typical of Euphorbia, appears in late spring and early summer. The milky latex of the plant is toxic and can cause irritation on contact with the skin.

- as early as the nineteenth century, competitions with skûtsjes were organized at times when no cargo could be obtained

- that way skippers could earn a cash prize

- after WWII, the Sintrale Kommisje Skûtsjesilen (SKS) was founded, organizing competitions for each participating village

- this is how the current SKS championship came about, with skûtsjes that compete for a city or village (the only exception to this is d' Halve Maen, originally the skûtsje of the company Philips Drachten

- the championship is sailed at 14 locations of the 14 participating villages, which plot their own route

- today was the 11th most exciting race

- the overall winner receives the coveted blue SKS championship pennant and of course the Silver Skûtsje plus the honor of being the best of the year
