Nothing has a more haunting call. Especially when you are alone, near the ground watching Marsh wrens and then suddenly out of nowhere behind you - Mwhahahahaha. Before I could turn around this Rail popped out in front of me responding to the other call. This is the best view of a Rail I ever had. I was in full camo at the time which I think was a critical requirement to getting this shot.

It was arriving as HRT349 (Chartright Air Inc.) from Montreal, Quebec.

Playing a double flute to open the show at the Navajo Village Heritage Center In Page, AZ. Very informative. Excellent performances—song, percussion, dance—interspersed with narrative that described tribal life, and pulled no punches when criticizing the European invaders. At the end, the performers posed for photos with the guests.

The Raseborg castle ruins, situated on a rock by Raseborg stream, are the remainders of a castle that was probably built in the 14th century, when the rock was still surrounded by water.

Battles were fought between Swedish and Danish forces and even pirates over control of the castle in the Middle Ages.
