Interior View of the Memorial Church at Harvard University, looking towards the back with that magnificent pipe organ.
The photo took from yesterday after the Election Day! It was so peaceful and beautiful! People are setting on the ground or moving and they are very happy!

The Harvard Memorial Church was built in 1932 and honours the Harvard almuni that died in the wars of the 20th century.
McKinlock Hall was built in 1925 and is typical of the red brick neo-Georgian River Houses. An addition was completed in 1930.

La Universidad de Harvard es una universidad privada localizada en Cambridge, Massachusetts, EE.UU. Fundada en 1636 por la legislatura colonial de Massachussets. Harvard es la institución más antigua de educación superior en los Estados Unidos.

I had time whilst in Boston to cross the Charles River to have a look at Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts . As you know I have visited Oxford and Cambridge universities in England several times. Harvard is of course in architectural terms a youngster in comparison, that being said the Harvard does have many attractive buildings . The memorial church stands at the heart of the university campus . The trees were very useful they add a little contrast. Also they hide or mostly hide the ugly brutal neo-classical colonnade at the front of the building . Massive stone pillars do little to compliment the rather elegant spire.
The current Memorial Church was built in 1932 in honour of the men and women of Harvard University who died in World War I.

Okay. When it comes to getting the sun in the frame, I'm biased. There are a helluva lot of challenges and every attempt of mine has one shortcoming or another. But, I will overcome it all someday!!
Perhaps fittingly, beautiful fallen autumn leaves adorn the ground in front of the Molecular & Cell Biology / Bio Labs Building & its wonderful entrance featuring the work of sculptor, Katharine Lane Weems.
