I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
Whatever I see I swallow immediately
Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.
I am not cruel, only truthful ‚
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.
Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is part of my heart. But it flickers.....

St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery is a functioning monastery in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The monastery is located on the right bank of the Dnieper River on the edge of a bluff northeast of the Saint Sophia Cathedral. The site is located in the historic administrative Uppertown and overlooks the city's historical commercial and merchant quarter, the Podil neighbourhood.
Built in 1108-1113, St. Michael's Cathedral was of particular importance for the people of Kiev, because it was dedicated to the Archangel Michael, the heavenly patron of Kyiv.
Originally built in the Middle Ages by the Kievan Rus' ruler Sviatopolk II Iziaslavych, the monastery comprises the Cathedral itself, the Refectory of St. John the Divine, built in 1713, the Economic Gates, constructed in 1760 and the monastery's bell tower, which was added c.1716–1719. The exterior of the structure was rebuilt in the Ukrainian Baroque style in the 18th century while the interior remained in its original Byzantine style. The original cathedral was demolished by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s, but was reconstructed and opened in 1999 following Ukrainian independence in 1991.
Nature does harmony in many ways, it isn't always what you expect, but it is what has to be. Fight it if you will, but nature has a patience and a temper we hardly can conceive. Leave you chair, come walk side-by-side with me and we will dance and be complete.

“A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretence and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.”
- Maya Angelou
After walking in the fields, in a park in the city, I couldn't find a proper view to shoot. And I lay down on the grass. And then I saw this view, and said to myself, that doesn't look so bad, and shoot this image, which wasn't realy so bad..

Chiesa San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane (1634)
ROMA
Architetto: Francesco Borromini

San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane is the masterpiece of one of the greatest exponents of the Baroque, Borromini, where highly innovative and revolutionary solutions are adopted with a very small space available. And the author performs a true miracle by expanding the space. The structure of the church is all a continuous movement: the facade flexes, concave and convex at the same time. The plan is elliptical but it is also an octagon with bent walls, impossible to define it in a precise geometric figure. The walls seem to stretch in a continuous of ingenious solutions just like the oval dome which is one of a kind. It is a clear example of how genius and creativity don't always need large spaces.
"The impressions we receive, which often appear merely chaotic, consist of three elements; the impression of the color of the object, its form, and of its combined color and form, i.e., of the object itself. At this point the individuality of the artist comes to the front and disposes, as he wills, these three elements. It is clear, therefore, that the choice of object (i.e., of one of the elements in the harmony of form) must be decided only by a corresponding vibration in the human soul..."
- Wassily Kandinsky

“Wisdom is learning how to live in harmony with the world as it is in any given moment.” - Ram Dass
This was very evident when we were camping in PEI last month. Two years ago, Hurricane Dorian devastated the park by taking out many of the trees around the campsites. We were lucky to have a treed spot with some privacy. However, most campers were sitting out in a bare woodland area. It was encouraging to see young trees that were planted and they are slowly growing to replace the ones that were lost. Meanwhile, grasses and wildflowers dot the field with a bit of color and nature. These are times we need to live with the changes that nature throws out to us and to live in harmony by respecting the chance for new growth.
"Burney Falls is a waterfall on Burney Creek, in McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, Shasta County, California.
The water comes from underground springs above and at the falls, which are 129 feet high, and provides an almost constant flow rate of 379 million litres per day, even during the dry summer months.
The falls are an example of river drainage regulated by stratigraphically-controlled springs, and also of a waterfall formed by undercutting of horizontal strata.
The falls were called "the Eighth Wonder of the World" by President Theodore Roosevelt,[3] and were declared a National Natural Landmark in December 1954.[4] "
:Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance and order and rhythm and harmony."
