The soccer fields are beyond the lake's edge, which is populated by Cattle Egrets, remarkably getting into the water (barely), which is unusual for Cattle Egrets. Harlingen, Texas. Notice the windmills in the background.

Europe, The Netherlands, Friesland, Harns/Harlingen, Noordooster singel, Franekereind, Singelbrug (cut from B&T)
The Singel bridge (1908) crosses the Noordoostersingel, connecting the Franekereind to the Noorderkade. It was renovated in 2017 and is a draw bridge—construction: riveted iron girders with a wooden deck. The base of the bridge consists of concrete and natural stone and is founded on piles. The R. Koster company of Stadskanaal manufactured the steel Art Nouveau decoration.
