packer blade is on top, and it rests on the partially retracted ejector blade. the two work in tandem to eject, in a computerized extend/retract sequence that keeps material from falling behind the blades. this can only be found on Amrep "Automated" units, aka ASLs.

They also have an ex City of L.A. Volvo Amrep Hardox in original colors that they are working on to use.

This colour scheme was used in 1989 by Team Domex Weinmann.

I purchased the new frame in 1992 and build this bike up by myself.

 

Soon our ways will part, as the frame (59cm center/center) is too big for me. I purchased another race bike - by chance an Eddy Merckx - stay tuned ...

Was very happy to see this truck today! Beautiful Autocar WXLL with a Amrep Hardox body, This is a must find next time I'm here. Though it will be tough since it's a commercial truck.

On multi-family recycling. Found this truck as we were heading to the freeway for the drive home. Got video it two of his stops. Thank you to Martin for being so kind even though I popped out of nowhere to ask if I could film lol.
