A view of Sydney harbour and Circular Quay in the late afternoon (early evening) of Tuesday, 8th December, 2020. Photographed from the walkway on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, just near the south-eastern pylon on the expressway level.

As I watched the Balmoral preparing to depart last month, the light suddenly changed and the Cumberland Basin came alive. I like this shot at it shows the inner locks in the distance with the Pump House (now a pub) to the left and the Underfall Yard to the right. The Harbour Master is in front of the swing bridge overseeing affairs and the tug boat Bristolian accompanied the Balmoral on its inaugural voyage out of the docks and up the river Avon.
...With a familiar name...

In this shot are crab creels from the crab fishing boats and St Abbs Lifeboat Station where they were launching their new lifeboat by coincidence when I was visiting.
Right on time, but much later than I had thought, Train 926 heads north around Dunedin's harbour near Ravensbourne with a rare triple DX set up front.
