After drinking a lot at an old pub in Sydney Rocks, my colleague said we should walk over the bridge (not dangerous), so we did^^ Weather is still hot during the day but it was very nice at night with a beautiful view.
The 'Louise Sauvage' catamaran at Milsons Point Wharf, Sydney.
This Sydney ferry was named in honour of Louise Sauvage, an Australian paralympic wheelchair racer.
She is often regarded as the most renowned disabled sportswoman in Australia. She won nine gold and four silver medals at four Paralympic Games.

Well this evening we're down on the street at Milsons Point.
This is the view from near Northcliff Street - right next to the Helter Skelter Cafe & Luna Park.
Equipped with a 'Wicked Salted Caramel' milkshake (that was its name, lol) from the frenzied Helter Skelter Cafe, I had embarked on a dusk photography trek around Milsons Point.
And to accompany this image here is the awesome jazz/funk group 'Shakatak' with their groovy 'Down On The Street' from 1984:

I have sketched from here often - the sun rising over the bridge at 7:am - can't help myself. A quick sketch this morning finished later after a busy day. No photos were used or animals harmed in making this sketch.
Perfect Blue
Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
And should you find yourself lost
But in no need of sympathy
Calm down to the beach and watch the waves come in
I dream the ocean was in my house
I feel the surf against my skin
I just can't keep the waves from dragging me down
But when you say ooh
Baby, you're my best friend
Then I lose
I lose my common sense
I'm blue
I'm kind of blue
It's the truth
Its been years since I've taken a shot at this location. Last time round I had my family with me, and I took a few quick hand held images.
Headed back down here this morning, and stood in the rain and took a few more. A beautiful location for a sunrise shoot in Sydney Town.
Hope you like "Perfect Blue"
Cheers, Mike
The Jacaranda's are blooming around Sydney and I particulalrly love these Jacaranda trees in Circular Quay. I went for a quick sunrise shoot during the week to capture the sun as it lit them up.
I hope you enjoy this image.

The Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk is a scenic coastal trail of approximately 2.5 kilometers in Sydney. It connects the iconic beaches of Bondi, Tamarama, and Bronte, offering spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and sandstone cliffs. It is one of Sydney's most popular walks, suitable for all fitness levels. Along the way, you can see landmarks like the famous Bondi Icebergs Pool. The trail is a paved path with some stairs, making it accessible to most walkers. In addition to its natural beauty, the walk also passes the historic Waverley Cemetery. It's a great way to experience Sydney's vibrant beach culture and enjoy the sea breeze. The walk is especially popular during the annual "Sculpture by the Sea" festival.
It celebrated it's 85th Birthday yesterday. The bridge was opened in 1932 to connect the south and north sides of Sydney. Mirror image using photoshop
Sydney skyline at night with Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Having nothing better to do, headed out to the city at midnight to spend some quiet time with the city lights, without the crowds.
This is a blast from the past. This was taken be by me over 35 yrs ago, maybe even longer. It's taken from a scan of one of my medium format B/W film negatives (6x6cm). It actually came up nicely. Might dust off the old Mamiya 6.

By the way, you can also explore the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the steel arch as part of a guided tour. It was too airy for me...

This time of year the beautiful Jacaranda trees start flowering around Sydney.
Last weekend I was lucky enough to shoot these magnificent trees at Circular Quay with colour in the sky.
I hope you enjoy this image.
