The Pindaya Caves are a Buddhist pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction located on a limestone ridge in the Myelat region. The area is part of the ancestral homeland of the Danu people. There are three caves on the ridge which runs north-south, but only the southern cave can be entered and explored. It is not known whether the other two penetrate for any extended distance into the hillside. Scholars have been pushing for the site's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Anchored in silhouette is perhaps Thailand's more famous nautical feature, the Ruea Hang Yao or long-tailed boat.

So, I immediately think of the song "Little Talks" when I look at images from this house. Its an old one I visited in Joe Batt's Arm. I just loved the character of the place. Hope you hang around....I have a few from here!
Oh, and "Hi!"

What you gonna do when your back's against the wall?
How're you gonna smile when it seems all hope is lost?
Tell me.
What you gonna do when you need a little more grace?
How you gone respond when they try to test your faith?
What you gonna do when your back's against the wall?
How're you gonna smile when it seems all hope is lost?
Tell me.
What you gonna do when you need a little more grace?
How you gone respond when they try to test your faith?
Hang on,
In there
Hang on,
In there
What you gonna do when your back's against the wall?
How're you gonna smile when it seems all hope is lost?
Tell me.
What you gonna do when you need a little more grace?
How you gone respond when they try to test your faith?
Hang on,
In there
Hang on,
In there
What you gonna do when your strength gets a little weak? (Oooooh)
What song will you sing when you're feeling incomplete? (Tell me)
Tell me.
What you gonna do when you try and almost slip? (Ooooooh)
What you gonna do when it seems you're losing your grip? (Hang on)

Never give in... never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.
Never yield to force... never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

Eastern Gray Squirrel clinging to the bird feeder outside my kitchen window, maybe 2ft away, not more. Camera on a tripod and controlled remotely from the Leica App on my iPad. Mostly he is upside down with his face in the feeder, but he came up ready to fight or flee when I made an inadvertent noise.
Must be a tough guy with that sliced ear.
Missing a couple of weeks from “52 Weeks with Your Camera”, which I’ll post eventually. Meanwhile these two from week 47!
It really surprises me how quickly and easily these bugs can maneuver through the twigs that they live on. One second ill be looking at one and the next second it disappeared behind another twig, making them quite frustrating to photograph.

NO MULTIPLE INVITATIONS PLEASE Thank you!
Yesterday afternoon when I was walking the dog I saw that the sea level was quite high so planned to go back at sunset to get a picture of a large rock that I quite like that I've taken pictures of before. However when I came back later the tide had "gone out". It doesn't recede much here, moving back by about three meters, if that. Sadly the rock I wanted to take a picture of wasn't surrounded by water any more and just didn't look good now. Disappointed I decided to enjoy the sunset and just be. That's when I saw this little chap clinging on to this small rock as "huge" (5cm!) waves crashed over him.

The mosque was built in 1757 and is located in the Old Bazaar neighbourhood. It is one of fifteen mosques originally built in the city during the Ottoman era.
The mosque was given a "Cultural Monument" (Monumente Kulturore) status by the Albanian government in 1973, sparing its destruction by the totalitarian communist regime of Albania. The remaining twelve mosques were subsequently demolished. Because of a religion ban in Albania, the mosque was used as a training hall for circus acrobats who made use of the high domed ceilings to hang their trapezes.
