How beautiful is Náyade in this Dark Stars outfit? I have repainted her eyelids and now she has an obitsu body... that wig was meant to be provisional but now I can't imagine her with another one!

handpainted brown designs on orange fondant. Lemon cookie. I was making a few handpainted kiwi cookies (wont bore you with ANOTHER photo of those!) for a display for our cake clubs 20th anniversary this weekend. I had a few spare cookies and a mile of cheap orange fondant so decided to cover and paint these. I also did a couple of prototype cookies for a business project for a team of girls at the local highschool - but at this stage its top secret so i would have to kill you lol!
Excited for the upcoming holidays, I just couldn't wait to start designing some wintery-themed items. I thought I'd start with some Blythe eyechips. Only one of these pairs came out particularly wintery, but I like them all the same.
I'm also very excited that I have discovered the easist way to paint specific designs, like snowflakes, onto the chips: using a toothpick. I made a pair of heart pupil eyechips months ago, but the process of painting the heart with a brush was so painful I couldn't bring myself to paint another. Well, using a toothpick dipped in paint, the process is actually very fun, so I imagine I'll have plenty of silly designs to share soon.

I collect doll's & children's tea sets. When you are a collector, family and friends will start helping you collecting, which is great fun. This way I came in the possecion of a sub collection souvenir-doll's tea-sets.
Souvenirs are usually kitsch, Delft blue is a apparently a color, it says so on the bottom!
These cups and saucers are certainly not real "Delft blue".

A gift I made for my nephew, Bennie.
This is Peter Panny, a young man from England who is desparately trying to rescue the captured mermaid from the evil Captain Manuel Pardel Rivero. For some reason he believes he can fly (something about some magic dust?) and dresses in green tights. He swears the tights help him "blend in." Unfortunately for Peter, he's not a great swimmer.
This style is one of our most popular building. No two are ever the same but they all feature the round shape, terracotta "tile" roof and unique door, window and flower box features.
Perfect for an "old county" or farm model train layout or, as we have found, just extremely popular for little altar pieces and mantles.
