My artistic nephew painted the masks himself to co-ordinate with the costumes. He is so talented. In addition to drawing and painting, he carves, and makes jewellery. Each time he visits he has someting new to show me....

this cake was a very large expansion of a display cake I had done in light blue and brown. the pattern was inspired by a pen-and-ink floral notecard.
Recently discovered in Hamilton , next to the Denningers store
This sign has been hidden since 1904 ....
The price back then was 5cents
It relieves fatigue ,,, not too mention rotting your teeth

If you're like me, you LOVE sushi. These cookies gave me the challenge of simulating 3-D sushi shapes on 2-D cookies, and I had a blast making them. Each cookie is hand painted on top of royal icing. Tasty (non) fish!

I used a toothpick for the first layer of silver, then used a brush to paint brown over the whole chip when it dried.
