Vice Versa / Low Table by Christian Haas combines clear shapes and minimal design with Gustav van Treeck's intuitive craftsmanship.
Fascinated by the workshops' fine skills and their archive, the central element of Haas' low table is an opulent stained glasswork, visible only through reflection. The motif is a detail from a Bavarian glass painting from the 19th centur y. The colour s selected for Vice Versa correspond to the historical design it has been modelled on. Following the techniques of the old masters, the handblown glass panes have been cut taking in account their individual str uctures. Fur thermore, they have been contoured, etched, painted and leaded in the traditional manner. This Gemstone necklace measures approximately 18 inches long and is made up of 20mm Golden Brown Labradorite Square Pillows. Swirled Blueberry Quartz shows up exceptionally in this design, with the Fresh water Pearls. Picasso Jasper ties the Labradorite coloring together. This design works great with most colors, and fashions. This is a very earthy piece.
