Handmade granary rolls made last week. I bought a bag of granary flour, and these were nothing less than a triumph. Simple to make and very tasty.

 

1lb 2oz granary flour

1 tsp salt

2 tsp brown sugar

1.5 tsp dried yeast

9 fl oz hand warm water

 

mixx in bowl, knead dough for 10 minutes.

 

Divide into 4 (enough mixture for 6 I think)

 

place onto greased tray.

 

Leave to rise for about 2 hours.

 

Cook at gas mk 8 until golden brown.
