This is me at 31 weeks - dress is tied at the front. I am fairly happy with it - couldn't help myself and had to do it in the same fabric that Anna Maria did in the book - it's winter here in Australia so I have teamed it with a long sleeved tee, tights and boots - wore to work today and got some nice compliments!!!
I made her chemise and petticoat from a thrifted blouse using the Kirsten's Pretty Things pattern available free online. The pintucks in the skirt were facing the wrong direction, but I was able to turn them around by ironing. I used the trim on the sleeves for the front of the chemise. The original sleeve hem was utilized on the neck. I had to put a seam across just below the waist. I was able to cut the sleeves from what was left of the sleeve cap.
