SPICEY
This year, I will try to make INKTOBER drawings based on popculture, drawn without sketching first.
I think they made a typo as I had trouble finding the meaning of the word SPICEY... so I went with SPICY.

Variety of plants in The Genus Iris (1913) by one of the famous English amateur botanists, William Rickatson Dykes (1877–1925). Dykes was an expert in iris breeding. He also had a great interest in tulips, amaryllis, and other plants. He wrote many influential books on the botanical subject. I've wanted to make this recreation for a while. This is a layered collage piece. Almost every detail on it is a different layer which has been colored, dyed, and trimmed to make this cute scene. Made for GS : Intl ATC Pokémon : Normal type swap on Swap-bot.
"Snorlax Snack Attack" is done with acrylic paint and watercolors which have been cut and layered in a paper collage which have then been rubber cemented to some Bristol Board to give the cards some strength.

Bit under, as are several on this roll, I run sunny sixteen usually but not Tr-X regularly and forget that it really isn't 400iso at all, not for me anyway.
