Hallstatt es un municipio ubicado en la orilla occidental del lago Hallstatt, en la región montañosa de Salzkammergut (Austria). Sus casas y callejuelas alpinas del siglo XVI albergan cafeterías y tiendas. Un funicular conecta la localidad con Salzwelten, una antigua mina de sal con un lago salado subterráneo, y con una plataforma de observación sobre el lago. Al oeste, un sendero conduce al valle de Echern, con sumideros glaciales y la cascada Waldbachstrub.
Nestled between the mountains and lake Hallstätter See lies the beautiful village of Hallstatt in Austria. A UNESCO world heritage site and under normal circumstances buzzing with people all year round, sits calm as low clouds blow through the valley.

Surrounded by the snowy mountains lies the Austrian village of Hallstatt. As the sun sets the lights come on in the village projecting a warm inviting glow which is reflected in the lake. Normally bustling with Tourists, it is now eerily quiet.
Hopefully this year will be better and soon we may be able to visit all those beautiful places the world has to offer again. Wishing everyone a very happy, safe, New year.

A small and magnificent medieval town, resting on the shores of the lake and framed by the mountains.
Here the sunsets and sunrises do not come directly, but are reflected in the surrounding sky.
The mountains take on the colors of fire in the rocky parts and the sky is tinged with an intense blue
Una piccola e magnifica cittadina medievale, poggiata sulle sponde del lago ed incorniciata dalle montagne.
Qui i tramonti e le albe non arrivano diretti, ma sono riflessi nel cielo circostante.
Le montagne assumono nelle parti rocciose i colori del fuoco ed il cielo si tinge di un intenso azzurro
