Due to lightning, the game was only played til halftime.

The First Colonial Patriots visited the Ocean Lakes Dolphins on Thursday night, and one half was enough to decide the game.

To open the game, a Shawn Boone kickoff return set the Dolphins up at mid-field. Just a few plays later, Xander Jedlick #22 connected with Jacari Holloway #31 for a touchdown pass and a 7-0 lead.

With 3:30 left in the first quarter, Ocean Lakes got their second score of the night on a Tayvion “Tank” Land #1 punt return, 89 yards for a touchdown. Eli Snowden #15 added a second quarter score and the half finished with 55-yard touchdown run by Myles Alston #2.

A 30-minute lightning delay at halftime was extended several times until the coaches agreed to call the game and declare Ocean Lakes the winner with the halftime score of 28-0.

Ocean Lakes (2-0) will visit Tallwood (1-0) next Friday night.
