The garden is the result of the ABITOarchitecture project powered by Cantiere Galli Design and proposes an installation of mobile elements made with recycled shutters, used as partitions and brise soleil roofs: a clear allusion to the traditional Roman facade.

DAISY-MAUD: “What were you doing in there? You have already brushed your blue mohair plush fur and brushed your teeth.”
JAGO: “Well, I was actually looking at this, Daisy-Maud.” *Heaves a bottle of shampoo onto the table with a groan.* “It’s shampoo.”
DAISY-MAUD: *Looks unimpressed at bottle of shampoo.* “Yes, I can see that, Jago. What is so special about a bottle of shampoo that you decided you had to bring it to the tea table?”
JAGO: “Well, don’t you see, Daisy-Maud, this is blue shampoo!” *Excited.*
DAISY_MAUD: “Yes I can see that too, Jago. What of it?”
JAGO: “Well, if it’s blue shampoo, it must be for blue fur, like mine.” *Preens.* “I thought I might try it out. Daddy bought a few bottles of this the other day because it was half price because the manufacturer is changing the bottle design. We should have enough shampoo to fill the bathtub. What do you think, Daisy-Maud?”
DAISY_MAUD: “Hhhmmm….” *Considers shampoo bottle with new appreciation.* “If it is for blue fur, it might be good on my blue floral pads. Yes! Let’s go fill the bathtub with shampoo, Jago. But not before we fill our tummies with tea first!”
The theme for “Smile on Saturday” for the 24th of June is “hair shampoo”, which is quite an easy theme, since I have several different shampoos that I use in my very curly hair. I’m very fastidious about my hair and get it styled once a month and I look after it very well. Oh dear! It looks like my bears have discovered my bottles of salon shampoo in my bathroom! For anyone who follows my photostream, you will know that my bears feature quite significantly, and they are always having adventures or are up to something. It makes life here very interesting! Whatever they are up to with one of my bottles of shampoo, I hope that you like my choice for this week’s them, and that they make you smile!
This beautiful Willow Pattern nursery tea set was made in England by the Shell China Company in the 1920s. It features four cups and saucers (not all the set is being used today) as well as a tea pot, coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. Each piece is gilt edged and decorated with the Willow Pattern in blue, just like the life-size equivalent. It has three sister sets: a 1920s Shell China Company “Old Deft” Delftware style set, a 1920s nursery rhyme tea set that I was given as a gift some years ago by a close friend who knows I collect nursery ware and children’s tea sets and a faerie tale set from the 1930s Shell China Company faerie tale tea set that I have built up from various sellers over time.
Jago was a gift from a dear friend in England. He is made of English mohair with suede paw pads and glass eyes. He is a gentle bear, kind and patient who carries an air of calm about him. He is already fitting in with everyone else very nicely.
Daisy Maud is Jago's little sister and was made by the same friend in England who made him. She is made of German mohair with floral fabric cotton paw pads that match her pretty sunhat, and glass eyes. A sweet and loving little girl bear, she is happy to be reunited with her big brother, Jago, and enjoys being spoiled by her new Daddy.
