The second caliph, Amīr-ul-Mūminīn Sayyidunā ‘Umar Fārūq A’ẓam رضی اللہ عنہ has

Hadith :

Abu Burdah r.a berkata :”Rasulullah mengutus ayah ku iaitu Abu Musa dan Muaz ke Yaman, Nabi berkata:”Mudahkanlah dan janganlah kamu menyukarkan, Gembirakanlah dan jangan kamu menyusahkan dan berseia sekatalah kamu.”

(Bukhari dan Muslim)

Huraian

Dalam berdakwah terdapat tatacara yang perlu diamalkan agar segala apa yang disampaikan menjadi ikutan. Antaranya ialah kita dilarang daripada menyukarkan manusia dalam melakukan ketaatan kepada Allah SWT. Contohanya ketika kita menjadi imam di dalam solat, maka solat itu janganlah terlalu lama (panjang) kerana mungkin makmun yang ada bersama kita terdiri daripada mereka yang lemah dan sakit, tua dan sebagainya. Nabi juga menyuruh kita mengembirakan manusia bukan menjadikan mereka merasa benci dengan ajaran yang kita sampaikan. Oleh itu kita hendaklah mendahulukan perkara-perkara yang menyedarkan manusia dan membangkitkan semangat mereka untuk melakukan kebaikan. Jangan sekali-kali kita memberatkan dengan perkara yang berbentuk ancaman kerana ia akan menjauhkan masyarakat dari agama dan kebenaran. Sebalikanya jinakkan hati mereka dengan bertindak secara berhikmah kerana perubahan manusia kebiasaannya memakan masa dan melalui peringkat dan tahap tertentu bukan bersifat drastik dan melulu.
