I noticed with my new Peek, it would turn off when being set down. After some rigorous troubleshooting (which mostly consisted of dropping my Peek from various heights onto my bed), it seemed that the battery has some "rattle room" between it and the battery cover.
My simple hack was to tape a piece of index card over the battery pack to make sure that it was held down securely by the battery cover. The tape makes a nice hinge so the battery can be removed as normal, and holds the index card in place while putting on the cover. Simple and non-destructive, something I'm not normally known for.
Sony MDR-V150 hack for broken headband: new headband from one wire coat hanger, insulation tape and some fleece material from a hat. the coat hanger band is bent towards the back, crown, of the head - nice and comfy there.
I hacked a power switch into my programmer instead of the silly little jumper that I lost about 5 minutes after receiving the kit. The switch turns on/off power to the chip being programmed.
With it on, the programmer can be used as a low-current power supply to, say, a chip in a prototype board. Or with it off, the programmer can be used to reprogram a chip in a fully powered, production, environment.

This was the first one I stretched and it is wonky and driving me crazy. Nor is it centred, which is the result of never plotting out an embroidering plan of attack, but just diving in madly.
Embroidered on the commute and while watching The Wire with DMC on some Aida (I think) given to me. Stretched on a balsa wood frame. Long live my new staple gun.

back wheel, G-SPORT 48h RIBCAGE laced to PROFILE SS LHD with titanium 11 tooth one piece driver. i laced the back wheel myself using mighty George's method and instructions. both rims are from the very first run of limited raw finish. they are nuts. made from a secret proprietry blend of alloys! yay!
when i first got this bike it was light at 25lbs. i think that may be heavy now? i don't care. it's kind of old school in that all the tubes are original size OD. think late 90's STANDARD, rather than the thinned down tubes most serious frames have now. i broke my last one real quick and it had smaller OD tubes. the angles though are super fresh. it comes up on the front wheel with a nudge.

The Hack 4000 is a vehicle composed out of other fighters that have been plundered by the relentless space pirates.Space pirates? Space pirates! I don't know where this came from, but it might be a bit different. I haven't put a cock pit in yet but there is room, and there is also an unfinished storage area out back, where I would put all the lego gold. A fig to go with this would also be ideal.
The lighting and backgrounds leave something to be desired, need different colors, or textures, or diffusers, or something. Better pics will come if I can work it out. Let me know what you think - I can take it.
