Haacke's gecko (Pachydactylus haackei), named after herpetologist and Transvaal Museum curator Wulf Haacke, is endemic to southern Africa, and can be found in southern Namibia to the upper most reaches of the Northern Cape, from the Richtersveld east to Augrabies.
They are rupiculous, living in association with large rocky outcrops and deep crevices.
