Smile on Saturday theme - March Flowers 💐
Roses at the Ringling taken March of 2019 in Sarasota, FL
Happy 😊 Saturday and have a lovely weekend!
In an image drawn from the 2011 archives, the silhouette of a fallen tree and its reflection dominate the foreground, while the silhouetted forms of the shoreline trees beyond cast their reflections across the gently rippling waters.

"Dead or Dying flowers" - I was just getting ready to throw these out when I couldn't resist taking some photos. Perfect timing for Theme - "dead or dying flowers" - these look better then they really are as I had to open middle a little - petals falling everywhere and stem leaves were black and slimy. I would Luv to have shown my fave Tulips but had no NEW shots. Happy Smile on Saturday to ALL! 😊🌼
(If you can imagine this colour was WAY brighter when it was fresh - hard to imagine huh)

Meaning of first name Rose :
"Saint Rose was a young Spaniard, born in 1586 in Peru and who made her family home a kind of Dominican convent. She had mystical gifts. She is the patroness of Latin America and the Philippines.
The Roses, whose first name comes from the Latin rosa, know how to use their charm and rebound with liveliness. They also know how to be eloquent. Main asset of these women: dynamism."

Hope this is classified as Art piece - sure is to me
Sorry we are in a State of Emergency - VERY STRICT lockdown so unable to go out and get new shots. Hope this works.
I am so glad I checked in on what was theme for this Saturday early. I had NO Clue what so ever how to do this. It literally came to me in middle of night. One of the many nights I couldn't sleep. I tried numerous items, fake flowers, tomatoes, even mushrooms nothing looked right. So I picked some fresh flowers and this is end result. Shot for group Smile on Saturday.
Theme: Reflction on Black.
What a tough one, especially to do without any editing. (I don't edit or process) Thanks thou Maria. Luv'd the challenge.
The cows may be the only ones who truly appreciate the return of the Starlings. This one is for the Smile on Saturday group whose theme is “ animal face”.
...I'm not sure I've got things completely under control here!

We had a rare day recently when a gentle rain fell for much of the day. I took the opportunity to prop an umbrella atop a deck chair and grab a few shots through the open glass sliding door, without getting wet. :-) The refracted view in the droplet is an elongated view of the deck posts and railings.

Photographed for Smile on Saturday Group. Theme FLOWERS in MARCH. Not normal for us to have flowers yet, but with mild temps I thought if I rode around and looked hard enough I may find some Snow Drops or Crocus's - well I found these little beauties and when I say little I mean little. I have never seen them so small. Perhaps the size of a dime, 10 cents piece. They were on some ones property behind a fence so I had to shoot between openings. Best I could get with my old equipment.
