Senj es una ciudad del Condado de Lika-Senj en Croacia. El 97% de su población se declara croata. Está situada a orillas del mar Adriático al pie del monte de Vratnik (694 m) que separa el macizo Velebit de las montañas de Gorski Kotar. Debido a su emplazamiento, el viento llamado bora suele soplar sobre Senj.

It is situated on the shores of the Adriatic Sea at the foot of Mount Vratnik (694 m) which separates the Velebit massif from the Gorski Kotar mountains. Due to its location, the wind called bora often blows over Senj.

This is the signet ring I was given for my eighth birthday. Back then, it was a thing - having your initials engraved in that fancy, looping script. For years, I wore it for high days and holidays but now it just sits in my jewellery box. It’s covered in scratches and dents from all that time on my finger, It rarely sees the light of day anymore and now only fits on my little finger.

Train: Fast Train from Osijek to Zagreb with HŽ 2044 022.
Am späteren Nachmittag verliess früher ein Schnellzug die Ostkroatische Stadt Osijek auf dem Weg in die Hauptstadt Zagreb.
Wir haben dem Zug, an diesem Tag bespannt mit der 2044 022, am Ortsrand von Osijek auf einer Strassenbrücke in der Nähe vom Bahnhof Josipocav aufgelauert.
Zuvor, der Fahrplan hat perfekt gepasst am Nachmittag, gab es ein paar Bilder vom Schnelzugpaar von Budapest nach Sarajevo, welches Ostkroatien einmal von Süden nach Norden durchquerte.

Train: IC from Rijeka to Zagreb with ES64F4 021
2006 war es, die Hz hatte für einige Monate zwei ES 64 F4 (DB 189) angemietet und testete sie im Personen und Güterverkehr.
Eine Planleistung war ein IC Zugpaar auf der Strecke von Rijeka bis Moravice, die damals noch mit Gleichstrom Elektrifiziert war. Es war nicht ganz klar weshalb man die Mehrsystemloks nicht auch gleich nutzte um über die Systemgrenze bis nach Zagreb zu fahren sondern in Moravice wieder umspannte.
Die Lok wurde nach der Auslieferung im Februar 2006 direkt nach Kroatien gebracht und im September des selben Jahres endete der Einsatz in Kroatien bereits. 2008 fiel sie bereits in den "schwarzen Farbeimer". Bis 2011 war die Lok dann für verschiedene EVU's in Westeuropa unterwegs bis sie im September 2011 nach einem schweren Unfall wohl ihr "Lokleben" beendete.
