The Noonans were a sentient mammalian species native to the Outer Rim planet Noona in the Noona orbit system. Their homeworld became part of the Relgrim sector, an area of space explored between 3,000–25 BBY, (Galactic history). Contrary to popular belief The Noonans are not completely extinct; they come out at night and perform strange rituals in pockets of urban areas disguised as pubs.
Here some of the Noonans, under the name 'Swinging Black Jacks' playing for Saturday night revelers. Matt Allen, Gary Kendall and Adam David are the usual protagonists.
Noonan's Pub, renamed after current owner in Jan 2022, is an established Irish Pub since 1997.

An artistic Andorian escaping her homeworld's militaristic culture, hopped a freighter to Earth. There she took to skateboards like duck to water. She loves zooming around cool places but you might also find her creating increasingly complex three-dimensional art.
She once commented to an interviewer that if you're not falling, you're doing something wrong because everyone falls when they are experimenting, doing something new and pushing boundaries. She is known for her famous quote: "Falling is a great excuse to get up and skate again"

Atrus is one of the most important central figures of post-D'ni cavern history, during the period known as the Era of Abandonment. Atrus was the grandson of Aitrus, one of the people whose actions inadvertantly lead to the Fall of D'ni. He was instrumental to reuniting the survivors of that event and provided them with a new home. Atrus was a prolific writer of Ages, and had somewhere around twenty in his known catalog, although many were destroyed under differing circumstances. Atrus loved to explore the Ages he wrote to see where they differed from the mental image he had when writing them. He was also a good architect, engineer, and mechanic, and invented and created a great many unique devices and buildings.

Serenity, Kaminar, D`ni und die La-Kimisch
Vor Millionen von Jahren lebten die Serenity und Kaminar zusammen. Als die Kaminar verschwanden, lebten die Serenity noch 10 Millionen Jahre alleine, bevor auch sie verschwanden. Es blieben nur Ruinen und ein paar Inschriften über.
Vor einigen tausende von Jahren kamen dann die D`n aus anderen Sonnensystemen und ließen sich hier nieder ,aber diese ließen sich nie an der Oberfläche blicken. Sie lebten in Höhlensystemen und Atrus schrieb einige Bücher um Portale zu öffnen und neue Planeten zu erkunden. Die D`ni wissen alles über die Kaminar und Serenity. Die Kaminar besaßen unzählige Raumschiffe, welche mit den fortschrittlichsten Energiewaffen und Schutzschildern ausgestattet. Die Kaminar-Raumschiffe verfügten zudem über einen intergalaktischen Hyperantrieb, der tausende Lichtjahre zurücklegen konnte in nur wenigen Sekunden. Aber auch die Serenity besaßen viele Raumschiffe mit Hyperantieben. Nur eine einzige Rasse von den Serenity trafen vor tausenden von Jahren einen der Ältesten der D`ni und warnten sie vor den Temporalen aus einer anderen Zeit und vor dem Replikatoren. Aber auch die La-Kimisch verschwanden vor langer Zeit und irgendwann spät im 21. Jahrhundert im Jahre 2097 fanden Menschen
einen Planeten wo sie in höhlen auf den Saturnmond Dione , Mimas und Tethys werden Hinterlassenschaften der Außerirdischen Rasse La-Kimisch gefunden. Man fragte sich auf vielen Welten findet man Hinterlassenschaften der La-Kimisch und die Xenoarchäologen fragen sich,warum ihre galaktische Hochkultur vor etwa zweiundzwanzig Millionen Jahren ein so plötzliches Ende fand. Aber die einzige Rasse die noch existieren ,sind die D`ni und trotzdem hat man ihn noch nie zu Gesicht gesehen .

What mainly inspired me for this build:
- intergalactic racing pit stop station something by LEGOLIZE IT MAN (2018).
- Bastard of Winterfell by dasnewten (2011).
- UNES Odyssey 21 by Kyle Collard (2013). I don't recall very well but I think this inspired me for the sensor array and the general black aesthetic behind the hull.
This is my tribute to that glorious era in the 2010's when people like dasnewten, Red Spacecat, LEGOLIZE IT MAN, Ryan Olsen, Alexander Safarik, Tim Schwalfenberg, only to name a few (find all the others in my favorites), were building all those amazing microspace ships more or less inspired by Homeworld universe, or with a brick-built hull.

Happy SHIPtember! Weighing in at 100 and a bit studs long, this is the flagship of the White/Red Stripes fleet. Or, is this red with white stripes? I leave that distinction to the viewer. All in all, I'm pleased with this. Pay no attention to the bottom half of the build, where I've run out of tiles.
The shaping was the fun part of this, my inspiration was some Homeworld Mobile concept art that has to some extent influenced my entire little fleet. Specifically, the triangular engine array. The build started there and worked backwards, and from there I just made it up as I went along. (In fact, the engine surround is probably my favourite part of the build, along with the panels just behind the nose that nestle perfectly against the red stripe.) Breaking away from the Hiigaran concept art, I settled on a less blocky nose and settled with a more alligator-snout design. I'm particularly pleased with the internal structure which has essentially eliminated any sag, which is more than I can say for the first draft.
It feels like I've built this ship at least twice, and in some areas more. The initial framework was solid, to the extent that going back to make adjustments necessitated an almost from-scratch rebuild of that section. However, I've built it to be totally modular, which will help with the transport to STEAM.* The panels along either side all detach, the nose can split along the top and bottom, and even the frame itself can separate into much more manageable 30ish stud long sections. I shall take internal pictures if I remember during the teardown, perhaps.

Backstory:
As a youngling I always looked up to the stars from my homeworld of Bith and wondered what lied beyond. Never did I imagine that I'd be picking up work for the Black Sun, stealing and selling valuable art on the black market. Pretty easy job if you ask me, ever since I was young I've been honing in my skills. I was never one for education, and while a lot of my friends were studying to become scientists and engineers, I spent my time scheming. I started out as a Slicer, sometimes flipping parts I got from old jobs for extra profit. I was about 18 when I left my home and came here to Aurea. Order 66 had just taken place and this planet was in chaos, perfect if you're trying to get involved with illegal activity and making some quick money. After a few weeks of hanging around and picking up small jobs for bounty groups, I stopped into a cantina where I met the leader of the Black Sun. We were both there dealing with a certain high ranking mob boss who's... well, no longer an issue. He gave me his card and the rest is history. Ive been staying in a lowlands village not to far from the Glaurean Pass. It's out of the way and perfect for the HQ of my operations. Ive had a few jobs here and there so far for the Black Sun but nothing too crazy yet. However recent talk of Batuu has me thinking business is going to pick back up soon...

" Shortly after we left the war torn planet of Atraken and returned to the Republic cruiser Endurance, I received my platoon's... or rather my next assignment. My orders were to select three troopers from my platoon and then report to the Internal Security Bureau on Coruscant. There we would be briefed on an under cover mission with the objective of infiltrating the bounty hunter guild which appeared to be thriving within Coruscant's lower levels. This mission would be dangerous probably the most dangerous one the Republic has thrown at the 253rd, we weren't going up against battle droids this time instead we would be going up against ruthless and trained killers. Originally I planned on going solo on this one, but I eventually agreeded to let Lucky tag along. After a quick visit to the Endurance's armory Lucky and I no longer looked like the disciplined faceless soldiers we were meant to be. Instead of our standard shiny white armor we wore a mix of cloth and steel.
It was here in the armory where an angry Rook confronted me about me decision to bench the rest of the platoon. Though no matter how compelling his argument was my decision stayed the same. We had just barley made it off Atraken without a signal casualtie and there was no way in hell that I was going to risk loosing anyone on the Republic's homeworld..."

The Penguins originally lived in peace on a far distant ice planet. They achieved sentience through trough the power of the ice crystals that were scattered across their world. These crystals gave the penguins the ability to reason and learn about their world around them, and the brought u a civilization in harmony with the world. But peace could not last. Centuries later, humans reached the planet coming onto it from their starships. Seeing the crystals as resources instead of part of the planet, they began a systematic destruction of the planet. As human regimes changed the mining operations grew and the penguins had a harder time of fighting off the Human forces. As the last of the crystals were being mined, the penguins fled the their homeworld, left with many wounded, a hatred of Humanity, and the only remaining ice crystal. Now as they settle on this new world the Penguins are prepared to bring aneternal winter over the planet using the crystal's power. and none shall stop them...

A lone Jedi defends a temple against a warrior of the Sith.
So, I built this for the GentLUG SW mocoff almost a month ago, but some people *cough* Anton *cough* like to take their time when building.
Anyhoo, the inspiration for this was Titan, Thanos’ destroyed homeworld. I’m a big fan of how the planet was off its gravitational axis, so this was inspired by it. This is actually some of my best work, but the photo angle is terrible (as is the photo in general Lol) and the Sith dude blocks most of the detail. So yeah. He learned the ways of the nobility - political intriguing and rhetoric, battlefield tactics and diplomacy. His charm and good looks made him popular with many of the ladies in court, and earned himself quite a reputation as a careless flirt. However, he was quick to anger with a hot temper. After seeing another noble flirting with his latest pursuit, Corvus challenged the young man to a duel, which resulted in the death of his opponent and the large scar bridging his face.. As punishment for his crime, Corvus was sent to Arkanis, attending the Arkanis Academy during the period of the Clone Wars. Upon the formation of the new Galactic Empire, all the cadets at the academy were transferred into the newly formed Imperial Infantry. For his successes in the Academy, Corvus was transferred into the Galactic Marines, under the command of clone Marshal Commander Bacara. Only time will tell if Corvus Alde will live up to his potential...

Our mission is to protect a fishing village called Busrair, where a massive Trandoshan airship was sighted. We have to assist Chieftain Grozissh and his warband in defending the village. Because of the dense forest around the village, we will patrol the perimeters with speederbikes and on foot. Shoot any Trandoshan or other hostiles on sight!’

Story: Pyer Eliss was the son of a wealthy Serenno Nobleman and close friend of Count Dooku. His family were seperatists during the Clone Wars, helping to fund the Confederacy's numerous military projects. Following the Seperatist defeat, Darth Vader and his Imperial army invaded Serenno, slaughtering the nobles and remaining separatists. Pyer fled, narrowly escaping, but his family were not so lucky. Overcome by grief, Pyer used his family's fortune to sell weapons to anti-empire guerilla fighters, seeking revenge on the men that killed his family and friends. Support of these early resistance movements were successful up until three weeks ago, when Pyer's main contact, former Senator Alam Sorio, went cold. Pyer now looks to find Sorio and free him, wanting to continue his fight against the Empire.

Story: We had left early in the morning as we had a wide tear in front of us. Removing the remaining droids was time-consuming and stressful. They often entrenched themselves in plundered villages or lurked in fields that arein abundance on this planet, which has been contested for years. The victory for Taloria, a highly contested peasant world, could give the republic great advantages over the separatists. Tuk'Selam, our helpful Drabatan Jedi General from the homeworld of Pipada, has been behaving very strangely since last night. Yesterday we had liberated a farming village from separatist-bribed pirates and a handful of battles. Finally, we sat down at the fire and recovered from the hardships of the last few days. The war had taken a turn in favor of the Republic, that was clear to all of us. The war could end all the time. General Tuk had told us about a dark vision that had been haunting him more and more for a few days. "Something had happened, I don't know what, but there's something I feel", he told us after a short conference with a few members of the Jedi Order with trembling hands.
Fortunately, the path on which we had been moving since this morning was fortified and led us again and again past villages that were located in aisles in the dense jungle. Here and there we saw smashed droid parts. The war had left its mark even here in the Idyllic Field Land. One field after another passed us by, here and there we saw isolated houses or entire villages from which anxious farmers of all species stared at us. They were intimidated and had experienced bad things. As we walked along the tens of thousands of fields, my head started to hurt. I noticed that my comrade also felt something. A radio message that reached me through my built-in helmet combination tore me out of my confused thoughts. I moved my trembling hand to the helmet...
This one sat on my table for over a year unfinished, took pics of it in that state bcs I'm running out of building space and time.
I've been working on this for a week and need some help with a name and faction from HW. My knowledge of the back story is nil. (No Prizes), but if you think it would fit in to the HW story somehow, I'll name her after the best suggestion! If any one is interested. More pics to follow. Thanks for looking!
It all started at Brickworld Chicago a couple weeks ago.
First I saw Tim's amazing fleet, which inspired me to try my hand at a medium-sized microspace ship. I usually stick to the opposite ends of the size spectrum with huge SHIPs or tiny GARCs.
Then I acquired a bazillion red 1x2 and 2x2 curved slopes at a parts draft (thanks Simon!), and an idea began to form in my mind. I knew I wanted to build something Homeworld-inspired, and I remembered some of the amazing red Lego Homeworld ships I had seen: Pierre's Sobani ships, Haypro's Sobani Heavy Refinery, and Stijn's Tanker Feros. I was very much inspired by these amazing creations, especially the Feros and the concept art that inspired it.
Anyway I'm really happy with the result, and I hope to build more in this scale/style in the future.
"Sir, the target is just up ahead. Shall we proceed and take out the senator?”
“No...” I directed to the trooper. “That is not our objective. We’re here to extract the target and place him on his transport back to Alderaan. We’re here to spook the opposition, not start another war.” The last thing we wanted on our hands was another conflict that would draw more parties. The Emperor finally achieved galactic peace, at least for the time, and this was the last thing the High Command wanted. In order to bring stability, planets needed to be secured one by one. Then, if need be, we would be safe in the event sectors rebelled further than we wanted. For the time being, removing the opposition using peaceful methods was more beneficial. “Two of you take the rear. Watch out for reinforcements. The rest of us shall go in and take the senator.” As we snuck past the guards, we made our way to the main building and found the senator inspecting supplies for the locals. And then, we had them where we wanted. “Senator Bail Organa, in the name of the Emperor and the Galactic Empire, you are hear-by sent off planet to return to your homeworld. My troopers will escort you to the nearest shuttle.” The guards raised their blasters. Honorable, but no match for our reinforced armor plates. “Please, let us not end this at the ends of blasters. The senator was an honorable man and respected the way of law, even if the way was not always just. “Will my staff be safe? May they be permitted to distribute the supplies we’ve brought for the locals?” I nodded. “My orders are for you only, sir. The staff may continue with the relief mission.” While High Command didn’t specifically mention the staff, I thought it best to let them do their work. Attacks by insurgents and cells in the area damaged some infrastructure. It needed to be shown that the Empire was here to help. We gathered the senator and made our way to the ship waiting for us at base. - Bandana Clone
The final build in my Sesid Series I didn't post here yet. Got to use lots of Tan and Dark Tan for this one and branch apart from the style of the two other builds. Hope you like it.

My entry for the second week of Innovalug`s Style It Up -contest, where the prompt was to create a perfectly symmetrical model. It was really challenging to come up with something to build for this category, as not a lot of things benefit from being symmetrical down to the smallest details. I ended up going for a Homeworld -style battleship, inspired by the, well, inspired models of builder Dasnewten.
This is inspired by a piece of Homeworld art I found and really liked by Jon Aaron Kambeitz. The artwork says ‘R2 Interceptor’ but the design actually became the Taiidan Scout and the Taiidan Interceptor had a different design. I took a few creative liberties and interpretations from the art into this model. Some proportions and details aren’t perfect/could be changed, but I think it came out pretty cool. I also busted out Lego stickers for some custom stickering, which is a first for me.
I love homeworld concept art, so I tried what I can make out of it.
It's not perfect, the middle section is somewhat boring and it does't feature a landing gear (I really, really suck at them).
Nonetheless, I'm happy with it. Building a MOC of this size was a whole new expirience for me.
Here's another small freighter, kind of a mash-up of an A-wing with the Millinium Falcon meets Homeworld. Don't look at the bottom and it could pass for finished!

- 3D design started on the 20/09/2023, completed on the 29/10/2023, real model completed on the 02/12/2023.
- 101.6 studs which makes it a SHIP (my first).
- 4047 part (my biggest creation so far).
- 2,447 kg.

The Ballad of Kepler Van Allen Part 19
Finally, Kepler van Allen returns to his homeworld. As soon as he has landed his heavily-laden intergalactic rover on the dusty tan surface, Honest John and Bionic Benny rove to a stop nearby. Benny immediately begins assembling the various components that Kepler has been collecting, and Honest John explains the situation to our hero as some indigenous locals look on...
"You have done well, Kepler van Allen, and your debt to me has been paid. But your work here is not finished just yet. We don't have much time--you must hurry. As soon as Benny has finished assembling the device, you must depart. The Exhibition is only on this world for one more night! The time to act is now. You know what you must do. "
A few more turns of Bionic Benny's magneti-spanner and the device is complete. Kepler can feel the immense power emanating from the Green Dilithium crystal. He pauses to wonder how safe this thing is.
No time for that now...
