homesick for this place today

I keep this kithtcy around so I know what the temperature is in the bathroom. Being from So Florida and relocated north. I have a shower standard temperature to let me know when it’s golden to shower.

An older one, at Lakes Entrance in eastern Victoria where I'm hoping to move next year to work. I've been going to Lakes my whole life - nearly every landmark moment in my life has happened there... it seems natural to be gravitating towards living and working there for a while.

This is the Lakes that I love, quiet, still and empty - all the tourists gone, and that glorious late afternoon sun...

I'm really missing visiting the Wetlands. In fact, I have spent so much time here that I consider it my home away from home; stopping here after work or on weekends for walks along this boardwalk. This scene has been inaccessible since closing the Wetlands for construction of the South Lawrence Trafficway. I'm hoping they stay on schedule for completion which will allow the re-opening in June of this year which is just 5 months away. That bench at the end of boardwalk is my special spot. Taken in September at the Baker Wetlands in Lawrence, KS when they opened for one day for an early morning Monarch Watch tagging event.

he's never been there but he longs to go there some day - japan, the home of his ancestors.

I think I've passed by this one a few times and wish I'd noticed because the snow was too deep to get closer when I did. Will try to remember to check it out in the spring.

Today has been awesome! My day started off with a nice hot cup of coffee and some homework, then to a client shoot ( photos will be up soon), then I watched some movies and started to edit photos when I got a message from one of my models saying our photo had been featured on the rebel pin up page! www.pinuppage.blogspot.com/2013/01/9.html
