After another dark and grey day, the miracle happened again. The sky opened up, and changed the scenery, and this fairy tale like landscape emerged.

Lovely valleys, bare mountains and cold winds, snow packs, glaciers, beautiful lakes, and then there are the enchanting fjords that never stop to amaze. The most beautiful country of Europe, for me no doubt about that, with only one minor aspect, which is the weather. During my month of traveling I only had 4 really nice days, the rest of the time clouds, rain, and very changeable! Still no regret, and I will go back to make even more than the 3500 pictures that I took this time.

Nach dem Verlassen des Bahnhofs in Drei Annen Hohne gilt es für die Lokmannschaft auf der 99 7241 bis zum bekannten Bahnübergang über die L100 Schwung zu holen, denn ab dort wird es steil bis zum Bahnhof Schierke, erst dort kann der Heizer ein wenig verschnaufen.

Ein Wasserinjektionsgerät (kurz WIG) ist ein Arbeitsschiff und Wasserbaufahrzeug, das Schlickablagerungen in Fahrwassern und Hafenbecken mit einem Spülrohr beseitigt und damit dem Gewässerunterhalt dient. Im Vergleich zu anderen Verfahren weist die Wasserinjektion eine relativ gute Umweltverträglichkeit auf.[1] Dies begründet sich damit, da nur geringe Menge der suspendierten Sedimente in den Wasserkörper eingemischt werden. Im Gegensatz dazu wird das Sediment beispielsweise mit der Schlickegge mechanisch aufgeharkt und in großen Mengen aufgewirbelt.

I wrote a new blog post 'On universal objectivity'. This picture was taken in wonderful Georgia. The fog is absolutely natural, no photoshop was used for that! What a beauty!
