Seen from the riverside walkway underneath Framwellgate Bridge. The majestic spires of the Cathedral can be seen above the treeline. The traditional photo is shot from the other direction further up the river, but on the one and only day that I turn up, that part of the walkway was shut off from both directions because they were painting the railings. Typical. And to make matters worse I also got a parking ticket for being ten minutes late!!!!!!!!
