My smallest Tenrec Azizi balancing on a large sunflower. Lesser Tenrecs are, in adulthood usually a lot bigger than a hamster though Azizi is pretty much the size of a hamster.

Photographed indoors at home, in low key. As sunflower stamen are very sticky, he is standing on a mat.

This photo was taken September 2021, at the Columbia Icefields, Alberta. The weather changed quickly, it was decent warmer weather 10 minutes up the road, then turning to freezing temperatures arriving at the icefields.... I always try to be prepared, and I quickly put on my toque , and layers to marvel at the scenery! :).....Then all of a sudden the sun broke through the clouds with this light beam appearing directly onto the icefield snow coach. You barely even see the snow coach here! :)

I will post another photo or 2 with a closer view:) I hope you enjoy!

looking forward to the sun to finally shine through here in the Toronto area tomorrow...22 days with pretty much no sun.! woohoo! 🌞💛

Sunrise at Bob Hall Pier on Padre Island, Corpus Christi, TX. For 120 pictures in 2020 #53 "Here comes the sun".

The sun arriving at 5.50am from above the northern pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Photographed from the Blues Point Reserve, near McMahons Point, when, on Friday 19th September, 2025, I miraculously managed to get out of bed at 4.30am, and drive down to the harbour from the Hills District. This won't be happening too often, lol.

The sun pops above the layer of mist and cloud on a lovely sunrise at my local beach, every sunrise is different in so many ways. There was a lovely sunrise sky this morning the clouds were full of glorious colour so I took a few shots over a tree, resistance is futile . And who can resist a great song too ,
