Hello 2025, which I can only hope brings more wild times which makes each year as valuable as the last.
Basic brightness/contrast editing, other than that, SOOC :) I usually despise direct flash, but I wanted to test it out with my camera... I just like the shadow here :P
I'm nervous about my AP tests. I'm not so sure how I did on them... I have one more on Tuesday (chem), so this is a tribute to all AP testers out there who are suffering severe anxiety with me.
Song for today: Touch down, turn around, Hellogoodbye. I used to addictively listen to this band in middle school.
Random fact: I eat like a monster. This week my counselor skeptically asked me if I was eating okay... I'm guessing it's because I was drowning in the sweats I was wearing.

A lot of time has passed and it only makes me keep wanting to link back to certain aspects of my past. Not the painful parts, or the unhappiness; but the memories i silently forgot; the memories locked away in darkness, in the deepest parts of my my mind. The memories that unlock themselves in dreams, and slink along the edge of my nightmares quietly, without leaving a trace. I need to find a reason, or reasons, to explain everything that ever happens- how did it happen, and why. They say that 'there's a reason for everything', but that is just a convenient generalization because no one, not a single person, has ever bothered to clarify exactly the basis for that sentence. Ironically, there's no reason for that sentence to exist as it's redundant.
Just like how there must be a reason behind my lack of inspiration
Loved this girl. She went over multiple times during StD, "This is just Saves the Day!" Unfortunately, the security guardsmade the crowd chill out during NFG. I remember only seeing her once or twice during them, could've been more, I just don't remember.

Esta es mi última foto en Flickr por un largo tiempo, calculo que unos dos meses aproximadamente.
Comienzo un período de vacaciones y estudios en España.
Intentaré reponer un poco mis energías y disfrutar de la linda gente y los hermosos lugares que fui queriendo a través de muchos de ustedes. A ver si me inspiro para robarles algunas tomas!!!
Esta foto se la quiero dedicar a una amiga muy especial que conocí a través de Flickr y que me acompañó en muchas aventuras (y locuras) fotográficas.
Alguien a quien quiero mucho por su alegría, su sensibilidad, su ternura, su protección y un sin fin de cosas más... que seguiré descubriendo.

So there is 4 weeks left until school starts. I'm excited, but yet I'm not. I have all these awesome new clothes, my style has changed so much, my hair is getting soo long once again like it used to be, and things seem good. But once the first week comes around, I'm going to hate it already, and this will be the hardest school year yet. SAT's, PSSA's which last a month, and then Keystone's. Not that you would know the last two, but they are Pennsylvania Assessments.
Off top, but, every night at 9 I watch Degrassi. It is pretty much the only reason I still watch TV. Besides 90's Nick. But I loved this song off of last night's epsiode. Considering I could not find it anywhere, I made my own video and it has so many views and comments, I'm surprised.

It's the people who don't speak up who often have the most to say, if only they had the courage to say it; the people who always smile, who actually have more to be sad about than you would ever think; the people who seem utterly, so brilliantly perfect, who struggle the most inside. When was the last time you actually stopped to think about someone else, over yourself? Time may afford you only the shortest minute to stop walking and smile at the stranger who always seems alone, but that doesn't mean you can't do more.
Our life is nothing more than exchanging Hello's and Goodbye's with the people who come in, then go out. But the fleeting moment when you have one of those exchanges with a stranger, is the most thoughtful, most wistful, and most beautiful memory that will keep you thinking, even when you don't realise it.
Because in a few years time when you're sitting in the train with the melting rain trickling down the windows, with strangers around you with their heads tilted into their books, with the quiet murmur of chatter through the dusty air, is when you think back to that very moment, that very same moment, when your eyes met that stranger's, and you will wish you had said more. That you had asked for a name. A contact detail. Not just remembering that they were holding a guitar, or that they had the deepest grey eyes, or they had the strangest, most enchanting smile you had ever seen.
