We have been sorting through some boxes recently in one are a number of letters and notes to me from Di from before we were married - just over 25 years ago.
Di would always put one of these small ( 12 mm ) heart stickers on.

How I made it: The paper heart I learned how to make via a TikTok video. It is held with a clothes pin that I blacked out with a marker. The camera is pointed at a slight up angle to not capture the top of the white votive candle about 2 inches behind the heart. In addition to the candle light, it is front lit from below with my cell phone light for about half the exposure.
The Herzerl Straße, the street forming a heart, is set in the middle of vineyards on the Austrian/Slovenian border. On this fine evening it was showing the splendid autumn colours in the last rays of the setting sun. Only at a certain point right in the middle of a Slovenian vineyard are you able to see the road in the shape of a heart. Otherwise it is just a small winding road.
