So it’s Monday in the wee hours and Moby’s waiting for some critter to chase.

Captured for Cat Bench Monday. HCBM & HBM everyone!

Happy Cushy Bench Monday :)

Used some bounce flash here to fill in the dark shadow areas as the only other light source was the window back-lighting.

A horse and carriage ride through downtown Charleston, SC to see the sights.

Happy Carriage Bench Monday!

No long exposure here ... just a snap of the pretty sunset over Middle River.

Happy Colorful Bench Monday - this is to pair against the mono bench posted earlier today.

Miss Sugar would like to wish everyone a Happy frigging Cat Bench Monday!

Prayers please for Miss Sugar, she had a massive asthma attack this evening, 29 Oct, is hospitalized, and might not recover.

Update: She pulled through! She's back home and resting/breathing quietly!! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers! They WORKED!!

Happy Cushy Bench Monday ... at least my schnoodle will be enjoying this "bench" while I work all day ... something is wrong with this picture ... and it is not his contorted sleeping position ;)

Happy Mono Bench Monday

This was taken before sunset, and converted to B&W. HCBM that happened after sunset may come later today ;))

We are lucky to have LOTS of moments captured of our Peanut. I am finding comfort in seeing what a wonderful summer we all had in the yard. HCBM!

Why does Crick love being on top of the ironing board so much? Any time it is out (which given the infrequency of my ironing is not often!) he has to be right on top of it!

HCBM!

While visiting a friend this weekend, I caught her kitty Cleo planning a sneak attack - the cuckoo clock better watch out!

HCBM!

Now registered VP-BOZ.. which I have not seen.

Part Siamese version

It is much easier to catch this cat lounging on a dining room chair (where he is not supposed to be) than on an actual bench, so we're just going to go with it! I think Crick was working on his tan...

HCBM!

Here is Crick on top of one of his favorite perches, the back of my desk chair. I think he likes this spot because I usually have clothes draped over it, and this position gives him ample opportunity to shed lots and lots of his hairs on them. I am personally keeping the lint roller business afloat.

HCBM!

Happy Cat Basket Monday!

This was taken for Cat Bench Monday. Annie is takin' life easy in my lap while I am sitting at my computer. No she is not on an actual bench but my leg has fallen asleep and it feels like a stick of wood! HCBM! www.flickr.com/groups/catbenchmonday/

We have decided to multitask this week. This is my shot of the week as well. It pretty much describes the summer heat without saying a word.

Wait a minute. Who is this orange character? One of Lily's many nemeses! He/she was extremely friendly and ubiquitous during the half hour that I spent looking for Lily to pack her into the car for our ride North. We called and called, but no Lily. Just this irritating fellow/gal whose presence was keeping Lily away. He/she hopped onto the swing for CBM though. I've never gotten Lily to do that!

My dear old camera died during a feverishly active dyeing session with interchangeableparts last month. So now I have a new camera. So far, I've just used the automatic settings, but even those are more elaborate than the old camera's. Technology "R" not quite us. Here's hoping that Rachel can save me from myself. Soon.

I just don't know what she was thinking. My guess is, neither does she!
