It was an honor venturing to Greensboro, NC from Maryland in a blazing Turbo Blue Audi RS 3 to connect directly with our HBCU interns from NC A&T as part of The Driving Force (TDF). The meetup and internship program consists of mentoring sessions introducing the students to journalism, communications, marketing, and PR opportunities within the mobility sector.
The gathering allowed the interns to come full circle with TDF's tutelage while exploring the German vehicles in person to witness Audi's evolutionary technology, advanced safety features, and stylish characteristics. Titled "Community Action Agency's Summer Scholars Program," we discussed the power of reading as opposed to phone surfing, establishing networking relationships, communications approaches and of course, the auto industry's transition into e-mobility utilizing the electric Chevy SUV. The students were uber excited as they do not typically receive this level of product integrations at school.

The Driving Force internship celebrated a triumphant week when seven of our HBCU students were invited to visit the Volkswagen assembly plant in Chattanooga, TN for a deep dive into automotive technology. The hands-on technology experience for Khamani Anderson, Taylor Leach, Yorel Hogan, Malachi Fuller, Taylor Green, Malachi Hart, and Trinity Matthews was categorically invaluable.
