Exploring the south bank of London’s Thames River brought us to this marvellous courtyard of Guys Hospital part of Kings College. I had to shoot with a high ISO, so the image has more noise then I like, but I especially like it as a black and white image. My wife still had her umbrella up and had stopped to look out into the courtyard of this wonderful place.

An Eastern Kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) surveys the neighborhood from a high pine tree perch. And just for fun, I'll add that it's best not to mess with this guy. See below. :-)
"The scientific name Tyrannus means “tyrant, despot, or king,” referring to the aggression kingbirds exhibit with each other and with other species," says the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. "When defending their nests, they will attack much larger predators like hawks, crows, and squirrels. They have been known to knock unsuspecting Blue Jays out of trees."

The Little Kanawa River Railroad's EMD SW locomotive switches Cardinal Concrete in Parkersburg, WV. This little 2 mile short line had more than it's hands full during much of my visit to the area.

I had VIP privileges and was pulled onto the floor next to Buddy Guy and got some awesome shots + was directly behind him in his parade back onto the stage ... what a night!!!

I saw this male bear several times while staying in Finland last summer, and every time he made a big impression, especially when appearing from behind a tree; I was extremely glad to be in a secure hide. The guides reckoned he was approximately 450kg, which is 5 times my weight. Individuals have been recorded at a whopping 650kg; the mind boggles. He was a relatively recent visitor to the area, and they thought he was fairly relaxed, but they did not want to meet him in the forest on foot!

The reason I didn't give all of the weapons to their respected figures is either I've updated the figures quite a bit, or I haven't posted them yet.
I gave Dwight a Sidan Crossbow (BE99) and made him some eye drops. Next, Rick's got a Sidan M365 Revolver. Not really accurate to his Colt Python, but whatever. Finally, Andrea's got a Brickarms Kar98 Sniper.
My next TWD figure is going up tomorrow, and I'll let you guys decide who its going to be.

It's rare to get this close to one of these. I think this guy hangs out where there are lots of people so he may be less skittish than others. But he was only a few feet away from me. Granted, he was behind all that vegetation, but still, so close!
